The old Official Generals Forums used to have this, but it promotes a certain 'hunt' for numbers like Member #666 and all. I'm quite happy it is not a status number on these forums, but I'm sure you can deactivate them on Invision Power Board as well.

phpBB supports multiple skins as well, check your profile. On CNCNZ.Com, there's just one skin installed but there could be others.

When CNCNZ.com was moved to this server back in June I had the option of either phpBB or Invision for the new forums. I know I made the right choice in going with phpBB.

Even back in the days of using the old UBB forums it was decided that once the oppertunity came up phpBB was always the forum of choice.

As you can see the forums are back, the stink thing is we have to start again. So if you were registered here before please re-register and help us re-build our forums.

Actually I think the shout box thing is an add on mod for Invision Power Boards.

 

I really don't see the point of having something to leave short messages or have quick discussions like a shout box would offer. Isn't that what the forums are already for?
