Ok folks, this is it. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD GET TO PLAYING ONLINE MORE OFTEN!!!!

 

now that thats outa me, does any one still play TS/FS online anymore? World Domination?? I'm up for a few games, RA2 and YR as well, now that I got everything squared away. Just for the record, I am available for a game or three from now on, if you want to play, PM me and we'll set up a time. Maybe Generals too.

I played a game with Cygnus last night with Acerz....we kinda lost.....

 

we were holed in and short on cash....but our defences were quite good......but cygnus massed pprism tanks, and his teammate massed seige choppers....grrr......i was yuri, acerz was korea......cygnus was also korea, and his teammate was Iraq......i was with acerz.....

 

Cygnus began attacking Acerz, but since Acerz has a 56k conection....welll acerz's internet got disrupted.....every1 else was using dsl....and there was some lag

 

how bout another game today Cygnus?

I will see about it....And it wasnt massed prisms, it was 8 with 8 IFVs to caver against Acerz's Black Eagles, which were more concerned with getting orange's base. And orange...what was he doing?! He was Seige chopper crawling. My economy wasnt that good, did get 2 oil derricks, and managed to keep 16 Black Eagles miner harrasing all game, but orange really ate up the resources with his 6+ harvesters.

And he was also hacking, from what you suggested, Cygnus. I wonder why he didn't go after me first, though? I was the bigger threat...hell, I managed to obliterate his two conyards, a war factory (I can't remember if he had more than one) and his service depot(I know he only had one of these) . He was screwed! But then he tried to rush me...at the same time you rushed me...and my connection died. Bad, bad connection. [/i]

what was weird though, he refused to attack. If you noticed, he never moved forward until after my prism/IFV squad had. He was always behind my guys, despite have 60+ apocs and desolators with him, and only cheese knows how many seige choppers :x

Truth: He had less Apocs than that mate. He had like, 13 or something. But yes, he had HEAPS of those bloody Desolators. :x :x

 

It was still funny how you were edging you Prism Tanks forward, and my Prism towers took out a bunch of them, forcing you to regroup.

 

He must've been cheating, only a 'tard would hesitate to attack. Hell, I had a pathetic defence!

yeah, my prisms wouldnt fire at you for some stupid reason, so I went and knocked on the front door.....that went really well in fact (for me anyway)

If anyones up for a game on wednesday between 1 and 5 or 7 and 10, PM me and I'll be happy to play them on RA2, YR, Generals or ZH, aslong as I get the assurance of a decent game without hacks.

Not a stupid reason…. A stupid strategy. Acerz’s prism towers were on a cliff, at a higher elevation. Ur prisms tanks were below. they can’t fire up, and even if they could, their range is shorter, since firing upwards in RA2 increases the “fire distance” between the targets.

 

When they moved onto the cliff, then they worked remember?

That would sound right. The firing distance for the weapons on RA2 varied depending on your tank/defense. This made tesla coils and prism towers very hard to kill on cliffs and psychic towers a nightmare. Its something people in real life have to deal with so its only fair they incorporate it into the game, adds depth and you've got to revise your strategy...thus making it not a stupid strategy, but a realistic strategy.

yes I know, I didnt realize how close the prisms actually had to get to fire up the cliff, but I won in the end, at least I pwned Acerz until the connection was cut.......by GeneralZ I think, but not on purpose. BTW my online YR and TS name is Tycho191 if anyone's interested. And I dont even know how to hack an online game, but I've sure seen plenty of hackers out there.

 

Id tell ya GeneralZ's name, but thats his decision, not mine. Acerz name is something weird.....and hard to remember

I'm going to sign up again for Generals and ZH later as 'Lektavia' and will probably be online tomorrow - anyone feel upto a game online with me?

 

I'd play RA2 or YR but I am badly out of practice on these games and will need at least a days warning so I can get back into the swing of them to be anything near efficient at them.

 

BFME is also an option, but I doubt anyone will really want to play me at that....

 

As said, tomorrow about 12 (GMT) I'll be free to play, PM if you feel upto it.

I'm after some sort of coop battle really, I'm out of practice battling other real people...a three way battle would be good...I'm going to say four will be the limit for me I think - not tried running generals online in ages...just gimme times (in some relation to GMT) and a place and I'll be happy to play
