They decided to tie a world of bad accents and improper images to all the middle east (I'm not saying some of them deserve it) but EA wants to paint them as evil minded and weak.

 

The Jihad movement has nothing to do with C&C General... and religion plays no part in game what-so-ever. Or so they say, but you make your own call.

 

While we are on this subject of American Proganda abuse, let us reflect the many times the republican party (and that democrat bitch Hillary Clinton) have spoken AGAINST violent games. But yet when it involves anything that gives the armed forces help in recruiting, nothing is said.

 

America's War, C&C Generals, and fifty other titles involving the war on terror and killing "sand eaters" are deemed a-ok in their eyes... but some how GTA pisses them off...

 

I say the more violent the better, nullify the youth eyes to what real hell is. Maybe someday someone will blame a Tom Clancy game for a school shooting...

Am I right for playing GLA and liking it?.... Ask EA games, they made the game with a playable "terrorist" side.

Bah, no, I took it with my phone's camera. It's a green laser beam being distorted by water in a plastic bottle...sweet eh?

A hovering Crusader Tank! Different looking Crusader, sure, but hey, it hovers!

 

 

The hovering ability is purchased at the War Factory. Can't remember the price tag. The picture above is the tank without the upgrade.

 

 

This is the tank with the upgrade.

 

 

And here is a picture of a Hover Crusader and a Paladin Tank for comparison. Sweet, eh?

 

Unfourtunatly this mod is only for Generals. There ya go Cygnus, something to keep ya happy. I got it from The CnC Den Generals mod page if anyone's interested.

 

Don't worry though...I emailed the guy who made it and asked if he could do a version for Zero Hour..or maybe someone here could do it?

I just tried it....It looks awsome, but needs to have different aspects, such as being able to go over mountains, being faster, and having lighter armor that would make it nearly perfect...but it is cool

Hrm, I don't think that would work though...I suppose you would have to change the Overlord's tank treads to the same ones used for that Crusader Tank. Which would just make it look cruddy.
