Red Alert 3 is next on list... so no worries about Gen 2 taking over... I just like the venomus play the GLA put out in game... But I'm MORE faithful to Red Alert.... Video Games are like old girlfriends: Red Alert series- Old girlfriend whom u love with passion, and also visits once in awhile for routine um.... "snuggle" Generals- The girl across street that u fool around with now and then... only to kick her off when your done and you say, "Get off me *****!!!". So what was I saying...??? Oh yessssh... I wanna to see some evil bomb trucks, tunnels, and boobytraps make it to Red Alert... okay, they had bomb trucks in RA 2... but I want to see it in 3!!! EDIT: oh yesh, Cygnus... How did Lucas ruin it for me? -Jar Jar Binks... -Butching story to move characters left and right maiming the integrity of the first original movies... EX: 3CPO, R2D2 -Jar Jar Binks. -The slide to the evil side of force for Anakin was horrible, it was like... Emperor- You did well... Anakin- Want have done? I killed baldy!!! Emperor- Join me in evil... Anakin- Um... ok... Emperor- To save Padme Anakin- Yeah... that too... -The horrible lack to keep the magic of movie and save secrets... *We learn Medicloreens are key to Jedi power not his faith... *The Galaxy was almost destroyed by an army of goofy looking "pipe cleaner" robots. *The love of Padme and Anakin, was shoved on poor Padme because Anakin acting like horn dog... -The horrible lack to answer much needed question... *What the Hell was Darth Maul, and Dooku like as bad guys? Lack of character flairs for both sith... They were just "there".... to die. *Why was Grevious coughing? HES A ROBOT.... HE DOESN'T BREATH... and I know he doesn't breath!!! Cus he busted himself a spacecraft window and jumped outside... *Why didn't Darth Vader say "hi" or "that's my robot" when he saw 3CPO in sky city?? Much less put 2 and 2 together, and say "hmmm my wife had robot, why does Leia and Luke have it now?". -Puppet Yoda episode 1 -Jar Jar Binks... YES ALL THAT kill Star Wars for me... I hate the stupid movie now, and can't stand it.... YOU may like it... that's good... but I really really really hate it... Woofna 0 Posted October 3, 2005 Simply put, Generals was a very good RTS, what left people hating it was that it obviously wasn't a C&C in any way at all, conclusion, if it didn't have the cheek to call itself a C&C I would be asking for a sequel and so would alot of others. Generals also had an annoyingly confusing approach to realism, it didn't have anything funny from RA2, but why on earth was the Avenger laser-based? why did rangers have killer flashbangs? why not krak grens instead? and why the bloody hell did the US have a 'Crusader' tank? do some research EA, the Abram is not planned to be replaced by another MBT (except a much more advanced one which has a multi-barreled rail cannon, definetly not the crusader), and even if it were replaced, the new MBT would not be called 'Crusader', that's the name of a scrapped artillery tank! Also, why the hell was the advanced tank's name 'Paladin'? That's another bloody artillery! GOD BLESS YOU!!! I HAVE NOT STOPPED BITCHING ABOUT THAT! YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD D00D! An M1A1 tank is able to remove any tank on the battlefeild today with on shot, much less those shotty scorpions... Also, an M1A1 is practically indestructable to conventional methods of attack (except mines) and there is only one rocket that can destroy it, that anti-tank rocket is in the hands soley of (bum bum bum) THE USA! RPGS COULD NOT DESTROY AN M1! So why can they destroy it's poorly planned, would be successor! AND THE PALADIN IS A BLOODY ARTILLARY! Additionally, why do all the damn hum-vees look like hummers? Why do the flash-bangs kill people? They are poorly mad. How the hell can a building NOT be taken out by any one of an F-22's missiles? Anthrax kills in seconds? NO! Days! COMANCHE IS A DISCONTINUED PROGRAM, AND POLITICIANS F***ED IT UP TOO MUCH FOR IT TO BE RECONTINUED. APACHES ARE HERE TO STAY! So many things are wrong! Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted October 4, 2005 sheesh, who salted your cracker ?? :lol: :wink: Generals probably didnt use real life weaponry for several reasons. 1: Copyright infingement 2: Balance 3: fairness $: EA wanted to sell it all over the world, not just in the USA 5: Making it all real would mean that the US would win hands down, with the Chinese putting up a good ground fight.
