Hello CNCNZ.. Im Daedalus, and im kind of new on these forums. Im one of the admins at Freedomstudios.net, as a lot off you probably know (cause off the top bar) your host. Seeing as i think it would be a bit stupid not to have contact between both boards I figured I should register. Yeah.. Im more the SP guy.. Only online CnC match ive ever played was RA2 against Immoman.. and Fen's right, I dont own ZH.. in fact I dont even have Gen.. When it came out my computer sucked and now I find the game an insult to CnC so im not bothering buying it.. maybe if it gets really really cheap (Note that im dutch, making me "greedy" :wink: )

Well I know ComradeJ quite personally so i could borrow Gen anytime.. But im not really interested in getting Generals.. Id rather save money for real new RTS-es.. like EaW & AoE III.. thnx anyway

No I dont mention RA3 because i think it is a) cancelled, since Mark Skaggs, who announced the game, resigned from EAP a few months later AFAIK and I doubt EA will do the series any good. Frankly I doubt we'll celebrate 20 years of CnC, though I hate to say it.

Meh.. maybe Petroglyph can buy the rights if EA abandons it for long enough..

As for now I wouldnt expect a CnC game to come out.. since BfmE2 is comming first..

Refirming? Check a dictionary, it isn't a word!! I know what ya mean though, but I'd of thought you'd know by know that most of the Westwood guys collaborated together to form Petroglyph. They have not "reformed" since you cannot call Petroglyph a change for the better in comparison to Westwood... But yet that remains to be seen.... GO EMPIRE AT WAR!!!

 

EA owns it the C&C Franchise. People need to understand that EA are doing some sort of C&C RTS. But as Aaron says he can't say anything, otherwise Neil Young will fire his ass... Almost everyone knows what's going on with C&C in that studio, even the cleaning lady.

I can tell you they will make an announcement, just don't expect it for at least another 4-6 months yet with at least another 12 months to go until release. It may be sooner than this, but it remains to be seen.

 

As for the cleaning lady remark... The cleaning lady who works around the developement cubicles will see pictures, concept art, you name it... of course she knows something. You don't think the developers don gloves, a pinnifore, a feather duster and rag & polish do ya??

wow thats actually a bit sooner than I was hopping for...but still too long of a wait
