Acerz492 1 Posted September 30, 2005 Exactly, hell, I work at a Wendy's. I get talked down by customers who think that working at a fast-food joint is the pits. It is, if you have to make your living out of it. It's a job, some people have to live with that. I'd like to see you guys work at the store I'm at when it gets busy and stressful. You wouldn't last two seconds. Some people don't know how hard we work in order to give customers what they want. Bear that in mind next time you go into a fast-food joint a'ight? And if it wasn't for the famers doing their job, country produce in meat and milk and most other animal products would cease to exist. There is actually some good money in farming, so I don't see why you should include them in the 'crappy jobs' list. Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted October 2, 2005 Those are much better than ur previous views, Acerz   Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted October 2, 2005 It's a little something called life experiences. I know what it's like to work in Fast Food, and of course I'm not going to go back to it ever again, but at least I know what it's like to work in one. Other people, unfourtunatly, seem to think that Fast Food joints are run by slaves, and they should be insulted and looked down upon for choosing to work there. Those are the kinds of people who should be chucked in the coal mines. Also, what would you do if a large hurricane was heading towards your town? Would you, (A), Pack up your things and evacuate ASAP? Or (, Stay, and be reminded that Mother Nature still reigns supreme over Humanity while you drown? Think carefully now...remember those who are still alive mainly chose option (A)... It's simple common sense, and if humans can't even follow common sense, then it makes you wonder how the Earth is still in one piece... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted October 2, 2005 Seeing as how we are currently on the topic of common sense I feel I should bring to your attentions.... Obituary: Mr. Common Sense Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Mr. Common Sense. Mr. Sense had been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such value lessons as knowing when to come out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm and that life isn't fair. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate when well intentiond but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year old boy charged with sexual harrassment for kissing a classmate;teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Mr. Sense declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student; but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that steaming coffee was hot, she spilled a bit on her lap, and was awarded a huge financial settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility and his son, Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers; My Rights and Ima Whiner. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. Share this post Link to post
