Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 2, 2005 But still. THe SNES kicks ass. 98% of its games are better than today's games. I'm all for classic gaming. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted November 2, 2005 halo 3 probably wont be available for pc. Microsoft has done the smart thing with releasing halo 1 on pc then people that want the sequal had to buy an xbox. Then chances are the people that bought the xbox would also buy more xbox games down the track to get the most out of the console. Same thing will happen with Halo 3. People that want it will have to buy a xbox 360 and thus will may end up buying more 360 games in the future. Share this post Link to post

Louis EX 0 Posted November 5, 2005 90% Chance Halo 3 will come out on PC Most famous games has made CDs for almost every console E.g. GTA has been made for PS2,PC,GBA,etc. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted November 5, 2005 yes but for rockstar games it is different as they only get money from the ammout of games that are sold where as microsoft get money from all the games and the consoles. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 5, 2005 But still. THe SNES kicks ass. 98% of its games are better than today's games. I'm all for classic gaming. You nailed it. Maybe I should create a topic about what are the greatest old gaming systems? Well, maybe someone else should, I don't know all of them. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 6, 2005 yes but for rockstar games it is different as they only get money from the ammout of games that are sold where as microsoft get money from all the games and the consoles. They don't make much off the consoles. I think it works that for them to actually make a dencent profit they need people to go buy a bunch of games also. They make next to nothing for peoples who just buy the console. Or something similar to that. Share this post Link to post

TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 6, 2005 Hey, wasn't Madbadger's acoount banned? I just need to say.... 1. Isn't that spam since it doesn't relate ANY to the topic at hand? 2. Where the hell did that come from? Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted November 6, 2005 Talking about MadbadgerBWare seems very alike to Madbadger There, about 1-2 pages back Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 6, 2005 Talking about MadbadgerBWare seems very alike to Madbadger There, about 1-2 pages back Well people really shouldn't listen to Louis. He is quite the spammer. Anyways.... Would you guys rather get a new PC or one of the gaming systems? Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted November 6, 2005 Hmm...right now, I am pretty content with my pc, so I would rather get an Xbox 360 Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 6, 2005 A PC of course...although not as portable as a console, a PC is more customizable. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 6, 2005 Yes but at least with a console you're guarrented that all games you buy for it will actually run... Which is nice. Which is also why I love my PS2 Though you still can't get decent RTS games on consoles. So PC's are still much better. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 6, 2005 I cannot see how anyone could play an RTS with a Playstation controller..it boggles the mind! Maybe I'm just too used to the keyboard/mouse configuration..lol.. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 6, 2005 You can get mice with the PS2 and so on. But the real problem is that console's don't have the processing power to run a RTS I think... Besides, RTS is kinda exclusive to PC's... For now... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 6, 2005 I know about the mice, but I don't have the time nor the effort to fork out 50 odd dollars for one. I hardly touch the PS2 as it is. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 6, 2005 For the moment the PS2 is ownage of all. Main reason? MGS ONLINE! That is sooo going to be cool... Ownage. Share this post Link to post
Azrael 0 Posted November 6, 2005 If you guys want a portable PC, get a good laptop... e.g. Vodoo Envy M380 (if you want it upgradble), or, if you have money to buy a separate LCD Monitor, Keayboard, Speakers and Mouse, the Fragbox 2 of Falcon Northwest... They're good for LAN parties! But still, consoles remain more reliable, because they're are no such things as requirements for games, you just need the right console... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 6, 2005 I would get a laptop, but do you know how expensive the buggers are? 'Tis not fair! Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 6, 2005 You can get a pretty decent one for only $1500. Not that much. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 6, 2005 I could re-upgrade my existing computer for that much. Plus I've got no real need for a laptop Share this post Link to post
