Do you think it would be a good idea to put in an option, where the starter of a thread has the choice of locking/deleting the entire thread?

 

Would this work with phpBB? Maybe if you wanted, you could make it only apply to the threads that have like, less than 10 replies or something?

Yep you can delete your own threads, but not lock them, just press the Red at the top right of your first post :wink:

Yep. Having regular members delete their own posts or threads is not a good idea. If you really want to delete a post, edit it to say "MODS DELETE THIS" and make it 500 size, and having it flashing, and in 17 different flavors, and put emoticons all over it, and then post the same post 15 times.
