I don't watch Sci-Fi, I had to Google that to find out what you were talking about. So upon saying that, I say, no, not at all. :)

OK, I've found a game that's better than C&C 3, SupCom and Universe at War all rolled into one. Therefore I've changed my sig and avatar to reflect the fact that the RT4X game Sins of a Solar Empire is the best RTS game I have ever played. It even eclipses my personal favourite RT4X/RTS game of all time, Imperium Galactica 2 :P

Far from it. It's one of those games that's easy to learn and play, but can take a while to master. Sure it's deep and immersive, but that's the gameplay, not the user interface or learning curve. As I've said in the Petroglyph forums, Sins of a Solar Empire is a game that gives true definition to Real Time Strategy....

Those who say it's heavily complicated are probably the typical narrow minded Action RTS fans who consider C&C 3 worthy enough to be called a Strategy game!

So, you're saying that anyone who disagrees with you is narrow-minded, right?

New avatar. You can't break Bigtime's stride.

No that's the collective voice of the SoaSE community. They are mostly made up of 18-45 year olds who consider themselves quite a rather hardcore bunch of RTS and strategy gamers. There's quite a few n00bs coming into the official forums saying how tough and complicated the game is, how it's too slow and boring cos they want it to be like C&C... All the community do is laugh at these people, ridicule them for expecting it to be like C&C 3, and then they tell them to literally **** off.

So no, it's not just me. ;)

Reminds me of a Yu-Gi-Oh forum I used to go to. The forum was in control of a handful of veterans who relentlessly insulted anyone who posted a bad deck. And these were good, well-thought insults directed at people who sucked too much to quit sucking, not ****-poor insults you normally see. These were some of the best flamewars I've ever witnessed.

SO, HOW 'BOUT MY NEW AVATAR, EH? Caps makes things better.

I think I'll go check out this game, Saracen. I've heard alot of good feedback and it's only been out, what? A few days? :)

I'm not going to anytime soon. As much as I like 4x games, I don't want to buy it because King thinks it's good, and I generally take any opinion of his and go with the exact opposite of it.
