Those are my thoughts exactly Acerz. It IS impressive that you get so much computing power for about 300 bucks, but still... a decent computer still wins.

What bothers me is the fact that some people fail to realise that the XBox is just an overly-hyped computer. What's the point in getting one when you may already have a decent computer? Pointless! :roll:

When its all said and done its a matter of personal taste. If you want PS3 save your dollars, wait until 2007 and you can get one, or save up some cash now and get an Xbox 360.

yea i think that Xbox 360 came out at the right time but could have been better off if they came out maybe next christmas? They'd have time to beef it up to match PS3 sys. spec. status. It's a dumb move to release PS3 in 2007 because noone has patience lol.

Personally I like PC, you can customize it more and you can always make it more powerful.

wow, so many reasons to buy a ps3. i was personally sold after hearing about MGS4.

Now i'm hoping the good ppl at square will either remake FF7 or do a game based off FF7-2

 

Used to like nintendo, til they went childish with thier gamecube.

Yeah, but w/the Xbox/Xbox 360, you don't have to worry about the other extraneous applications....plus, they have some good games on them that are only for those systems :wink:

 

@jibbin, yeah, nintendo needs to get its act together, and make more systems like the '64 and other originals, or else they'll lose a lot of fans (those they haven't already lost)

No. The XBox 360 is amazing. However, I think that the PS3 will be more amazing.

We've already gone over this: the specs are almost perfectly equal in both systems, however, I don't the Xboz 360 controller because it's using PS2 kind of controllers (L1,L2; R1,R2)

PS3 is not out in 2007, its out right after Halo 3

Persoanlly, I have always likes the PS2 overe the Xbox, and will probably stay the same for PS3 vs Xbox 360

 

After the N64 I gave up on Nintendo (it was a good system, but nothing good since then)
