Original RA2 VS YR

I was still bored so i wrote up a poll just to see what you guys have to say.

 

Red Alert 2 has a longer single player story, even though YR has more units and a third team.

YR is much better than RA2 by itself.

It all depends. I like YR's coding extras but the balance was lost with the addition of Yuri's Army and the Allied Battle Fortress. I do enjoy a multiplayer game of YR but if I'm in a competitive mood, I always opt for RA2.

Same here. BFs are fun, but they just ruined online play.

 

YR has good addons, but RA2 was more impressive from the start.

I agree, the Battle fortress really was a killer. It practically stopped all Apocalypse Attacks.

 

I think that Battle Fortress should be downgraded. 1 on 1 a BF and Apoc should be an even battle.

 

Also, i think the Tesla Trooper really should get a better weapon against tanks. And maybe deploy into a stationary bunker.

My reasons cruder, RA2, because, well, you can't exactly have YR without it And it is overall a fairer game.

Such at the TTroops not being as anit-tank as they should be. And their range just suxors. Allies have the over all advantage, small in RA2, but huge in YR. Especially with the BF and GGI, those 2 alone make any and all Soviet Tank tanctics obsolete. Yuri does as well.
