Guest Rabbit Posted January 17, 2006 I don't know what I might have done, but I think I hit a hotkey, and now the entire forum has smaller text on my page. Share this post Link to post
_Gryphon 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Okay, then. :? Any idea what keys you hit? Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted January 17, 2006 No, that's why I'm confused. I scrolled down to copy paste on another topic, and as soon as I scrolled back up, everything looked smaller. :? Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted January 17, 2006 Go to view> Text Size> Normal. Its happened to me before, it happens in IE too. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted January 17, 2006 You can hold Control and move your mouse wheel to adjust text size as well. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted January 17, 2006 Go to view> Text Size> Normal. Its happened to me before, it happens in IE too. Or just hit Ctrl-0 and it will return to normal. I thought you were calling Firefox crap, which is not. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 17, 2006 No its not. You have been brainwashed... Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted January 17, 2006 No its not. You have been brainwashed... Have you tried it? I did a couple weeks ago for the heck of it, and was VERY impressed. It is easily the fastest browser I've ever used. I like the features of Firefox better, but Opera wins overall. Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Give it a try sometime. It's really a great browser. So is firefox of course, and frankly IE is alright to a certain extent.... you really can't go wrong no matter what you choose. Share this post Link to post
Riparius 0 Posted January 17, 2006 It is easily the fastest browser I've ever used. Fastest? Doesn't speed come from your computers capabilities & connection speed? Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted January 17, 2006 No, firefox actually improves browsing speed, sometimes up to 200% Just look at the silly avatars that move. When you switch to firefox, they seem to move faster compared to the involuntary IE that you have to start with. Believe me, I know. It may be hard to believe... but... I was once a IE user  (insert silly "dun dun duuuun" music here) Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted January 17, 2006 It's true. The difference between Firefox and IE is very noticeable, especially with pipelining enabled. The difference between Firefox and Opera is equally as noticeable, to be totally honest. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted January 17, 2006 Firefox (since the release of v1.5) has one of the fastest page rendering engines. The current IE6 is old and slow. I will however give IE7, Microsoft's catch up to the rest of the world browser version, a good test when its final release is available. I still get the feeling I will be sticking with Firefox. Even when I upgrade (one day) to Windows Vista. 60.65% of visitors to CNCNZ.com use IE6 as their browser. Share this post Link to post

Also, Firefox has a cooler name. I have heard great things about IE 7 but Microsoft, if they want to compete with Firefox and Opera, they need to update it more often. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted January 18, 2006 60.65% of visitors to CNCNZ.com use IE6 as their browser. That's from that survey you put up last year, right? Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted January 18, 2006 No, its from http://extremetracking.com/open;sys?login=cncnz Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted January 18, 2006 Are you sure that the tracker isn't picking up Firefox as IE6 or netscape? Because 0.63% seems awfully low :? Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted January 18, 2006 Yeah, there has to be something to that King... But holy cow, 25 percent of visitors are still running Windows 98? Share this post Link to post

Hey, its been tracking from 2000 so maybe less people used Firefox then? Or does it just do a weekly thing or what? Also, it doesn't have an option for FireFox, only other?? Bah! Also...
