Amazing Stuff you saw on the news

Recommended Posts

I get radio and internet. No newspaper, no TV. So if anything actually interesting happens on the news, I usually don't hear about it. So if you saw/heard/read anything somewhat unusual or cool, I'd like you to share it with me.

There was a cat named scarlet on the internet. She won an award for "unfaltering courage" by the state of Illinois when she ran into a burning building, got hit by three falling rafters, managed to reach her kittens, and brought them to the lowest window of the house, where she gently laid them on the grass for the owners of the house to pick up. There were five kittens. I never knew cats did stuff like that, and they're my fav. animal

All six cats lived, but the mother, Scarlet broke two ribs and had to have surgery.

While on the subject of cats, there was also a cat on the site named Ninja that moved with a family from Utah to Washington. He dissapeared shortly after they moved in. He was found a year later, with collar and tags 850 miles away, back at the old house in Utah. Smart Kitty.

He had to have crossed at least nineteen freeways

But did the mother live through surgery?

Cats vs dogs, Luk3us. Dogs are the obvious victor, but some are slow to understand.... :P

In the UK, the cat is now man's best friend with 7 million males owning a cat in comparison to 5 million owning a dog.

So in the UK (at least) Cats > Dogs

Hyena's are more closely related to mongooses and meerkats dude.

But here is how things really go:

Hyenas > Cats > Dogs.

Simple as that. :P

Okay, just one last cat thing to add, then we can settle this.

Cats can train themselves to go to the litterbox, but dogs oh no, they will go anywhere for along time inside, and outside, they just go anywhere and not a certain spot. ;)

Okay... This story...
