Doctor Destiny 40 Posted February 9, 2006 AI Enhancements Not a complete overhaul like RA2 but the AI here has recieved the same bonuses. Faster team creation, quicker enemy targeting, smaller delays between attacks... That's just a taste of what's in store. Be warned, you had better be packing some serious defense. Craters and Scorches Terrain scarring has recieved a slight update as well. Instead of the usual ones, the scorches and craters from Red Alert 2 are being used. The new marks have been updated and edited to fit Tiberian Sun more closely. Credits: FireStorm (conversions, resizing) Explosions More Red Alert 2! The set used in RA2 replaces the ones used in Tiberian Sun. Although more cartoony in appearance, the new set does seem to fit quite well and not feel so much like RA2. Veterancy System This has been reworked completely. The benefits of combat hardened troops will be more evident and very worth the fighting. More bonuses will come at elite and most units will recieve an upgraded weapon at elite status as well. Saboteur Requirements: Hand of Nod, Tech Center Cost: $1500 Weapon: C4 charges Tech Level: 10 Cloak and dagger... and that's no joke. The Saboteur hides behind a personal cloaking device so he can easily sneak into structures and destroy them. However, due to the technology, only one is able to be in battle at a time. Armed with Proton Rifles, the Elite Cadre, as they're called, are able to rip through flesh, steel and concrete with relative ease. Credits: Dark_Elf_2001 (SHP & cameo) Light Tank ; name pending Requirements: War Factory Cost: $600 Weapon: 75mm AP cannon Tech Level: 3 Cheap, light, fast and excellent for quick strikes. Same as it ever was. However, with the reintroduction of the Light Tank in Nod's army, they have pushed their Tick Tank up to radar level. Credits: MTK2 (voxel) Share this post Link to post

cnc_sage 0 Posted February 12, 2006 That tank looks more like the Nod Artillery from Renegade. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted February 12, 2006 I assume that the Elite Cadre aren't the same as they were in FS due to the $1000, price tag? Share this post Link to post
