Well, I got the thing to work, had to reinstall TS to get that game to work, but now its fine....except for the fact that I CAN"T INSTALL RENGUARD....piece of crap

 

I install it to F:/Command and Conquer Renegade/Renegade, and it says "You must install to Renegade directory"

TFD uses altered registry settings for Renegade. The reason is completely unknown and that was an unnecessary change on the part of EA. As it stands, mods and utilities will not work with TFD's Renegade.

Meh, i beat Acerz ass several times 1v1 then Generals craped out on me...... now i need to find the manuals for the codes cos the game decided to misplace a dirg55.dil file

If it ain't broke... don't fix it. But no use telling EA that... It's proof that the First Decade is a cheap cash in.. nothing more... I'll be spending my money on Empire at War on Friday instead of TFD. It's the Logical and intelligent choice :wink:

I don't know about it being the logical and intelligent choice for me because buying The First Decade pack has never really be an option. I see no point in buying copies of games I already have.

 

No that I paid for many of my C&C games in the past anyway :wink:

But for me, I got 4 new games/xp's and replaced 2 lost/scratched disks :wink:

so i needed to get it sometime...can't wait till they make a patch for it

 

Edit: I got Renegade working, and it's SO nice to play that game online again....I don't know why, I just never get tired of Renegade
