Can someone give me their opinion with those books? I've seen documentaries, reviews, and I've read Da Vinci Code, so are those other works related with Da Vinci Code worth it?

angels and demons is good. all dan browns books were good. alot of people hate them and say its all conspiracy theory and ****, but they all seem to forget it IS fiction. Hes a clever writer for sure.

 

Didnt read the others, I liked the books, but Im not gonna bust my balls trying to take sides with religious issues.

Yeah i hated how all the churches started advertising how the Da Vinci code is all wrong and trying to get you t come along so they can explain how it is all wrong. As you said it is just fiction, its not like its trying to get people to change religions or anything or make the church look bad.

I would agree, but the Brown does say very clearly that he DOES believe that it is completely true. That's the difference here.... the concern is that the public will think there's something to it. I think that churches are overreacting a bit, but really there is something to be concerned about.

No there isn't. Some author wrote an intricate book weaving fact and fiction to make a superb story. He believes his own writing, well that's just dandy but no one needs to display any outward concern over a work of fiction.

As I said, people are being idiots and overreacting, no doubt about it, so don't lump me in with them. But I maintain that there's some cause for concern because people are morons. You're even more cynical than me, so you should see that! Some idiots out there will take it as truth, and whether you believe in the Biblical account of Jesus or not, it's just not good to have people learning what they know from a movie...

Lets face it though, if there that much of a moron they wouldnt have read the book. Sure it was really popular and many people who dont read novels that often did read it but there are plenty that wouldnt have. We shouldnt need to worry about the intelligence of read it. The upcoming movie though is another story.
