Luk3us 63 Posted July 5, 2006 Actually you can do both. But my point still stands. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted July 5, 2006 I swear the Trident is a class of subs though... *Googles* I found out they can be called Ohio-Class or Trident-Class subs. Just depends on which one you think sounds cooler. Share this post Link to post
GeneralZ 0 Posted July 5, 2006 i like seawolf class better. and arent trident class the deep sea subs that carry nukes and cruise missles? i thought they were fatter than that pic Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted July 5, 2006 Yes, Tridents do go deep and carry missiles all over the place. They are also armed with torpedos and some of the Ohio class have been retrofitted and mobile Navy Seal bases, even carrying small landing craft and featuring "airlocks" for the Seals. F15pilotX 4 Posted July 7, 2006 i like seawolf class better. and arent trident class the deep sea subs that carry nukes and cruise missles? i thought they were fatter than that picI believe that's a fast attack, not a nuclear submarine....as you said, nuke subs are much fatter Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted July 7, 2006 Not a whole lot fatter. But proportionatley, nuke subs are waayy longer. now for a ship Look at the water Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted July 7, 2006 Look at the water Cool, doesn't the water that comes back flow over the cruiser or is the cruiser simply very high on the water? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted July 7, 2006 I think it would just fill in, and maybe push the cruiser to the side a bit. I dont know about it flowing over the cruiser though. Still a cool image. Share this post Link to post

Valaron 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Look at the water It looks photoshoped.. the shockwave for the TWO turrets infront would be a hell of alot bigger then the one from the single turret in back.. ALOT Bigger.. Also the lack of a wake suggests the ship isnt moving, and all those guns goin off at the same time would indeed push the boat to the side quite a ways. And yes, I have seen a battleships cannons going off. I served 6 years in the marines and spent quite alot of time on both those and Aircraft carriers, though mostly on the latter.
