cnc_sage 0 Posted September 12, 2006 Maybe Kane is some kind of Scrin outlaw or something. I read somewhere that he believes Tiberium is the answer because it would help them evolve to be able to go toe-to-toe with the Scrin. Just a theory. I vote for Nod. For the technology of peace! Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 13, 2006 I was under the Impression that either Kane was created by the Scrin, 'indoctrinated" by the Scrin as an agent to assist their takeover, or he was spawned of Satan himself. Either way, Nod is up for a fight, GDI is gona get it, and the Scrin are gona wade into the middle of a conflict of proportions they probably werent expecting. Im hoping anyway. BWare 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I personally really hope that they bring the eerie Biblical parallels back into the equation (Land of Nod, Cain, etc). That was such an awesome element in TD and Renegade! Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 15, 2006 Plus it gives the story more of an ominous air to it. Imagine TS with those references.... Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Plus it gives the story more of an ominous air to it. Imagine TS with those references.... That would just be AMAZING. Yeah, those deep references really added a powerfully ominous atmosphere. There was such an incredible gravitas to those games.... man, I REALLY hope they can reacapture it! Joe Kucan will certainly help. Share this post Link to post
cnc_sage 0 Posted September 17, 2006 An idea just came in my mind. Remember that Mortimer guy from the GDI Firestorm mission "Dogma Day Afternoon"? He and his cultists were guarding the temples near La Paz. As stated in the CnC Wiki he was somehow able to control ion storms "at one point causing the lightning strikes at 3 equidistant points from him". While at the Temple of the Tacitus you could kill Mortimer and the cult guards would commit suicide. Another tidbit is that they weren't harmed by tiberium. The idea is that what if Mortimer was a Scrin or sent by the Scrin, like Kane, and was gathering followers to take over the world in their name? Just a thought. P.S. Did you know Tacitus is also the name of a Roman historian? Share this post Link to post
