Masenka 0 Posted September 5, 2006 Hello all, Besides images, bits of information about gameplay I was also wondering what kind of music it will have, and who's going to create it. I for one, am working on a piece inspired from what I've seen from the images so far. Trying to stay true to the C&C vibe. I hope you all would like to take a listen, and give me some feedback. would like to deliver a nice track, maybe even to EA http://www.foreverlost.nl/music/preview/am...chillout_10.mp3 Thanks in advance my fellow visitors Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted September 5, 2006 From our C&C 3 section: It seems unlikely that Frank Klepacki, game music composer who did all Command & Conquer games except Generals, will do the music for Command & Conquer 3. Klepacki is currently a full-time employee at Petroglyph, and both himself and the EA Community Manager have stated that he is not on the game's development team nor has he been asked to join. EA's community manager has also said that the team is aware of fan's concern, and that EA's audio team has been studying Klepacki's music for the past ten years, and fans will not be disappointed. I would be happy see a return music style from the original C&C and Red Alert, EG heavy rock/techno style. Not the slow atmospheric style from Tiberian Sun. Share this post Link to post

Masenka 0 Posted September 6, 2006 Thanks sheep, you did understand my question, I'm very glad you like it. And sonic, I can imagine you want that style back, but I want to know wheter my song would fit in a C&C style type of game Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted September 6, 2006 Hard to say because we don't know what sort of style EA will use for C&C3. But your mp3 sounds great. Nice work Share this post Link to post
eXCheez 0 Posted November 28, 2006 Apparently Steve Jablonsky is doing the soundtrack for Tiberium Wars. Looking at his portfolio on IMDB I can honestly say that this guy's got what it takes to deliver an incredible score, I just hope that it's true to Frank Klepacki's style. Not the slow atmospheric style from Tiberian Sun. It would be nice to include songs from TD in C&C3. And it would be cool to have a few slow atmospheric songs with the mix of rock and techno songs from TD. These are a few of my favorites: *No Mercy -TD *March -TD *Act on Instinct -TD *Conquer -Renegade *Mechanical Man -TD *Time Bomb -TS/FS *Industrial -TD Yep. There all mostly TD Share this post Link to post
