I wonder what would happen if a Desolator shot a mutant from Tiberian Sun, or a Tiberium life form? What if he shot a visceroid?

I think when a desolator strikes a tiberian lifeform with his/her rad-gun, the tiberian lifeform either evolves into something worse or dies, leaving a trial of a "new" and even deadlier type of tiberium. Lets say red tiberium.
