what should I reward?

hey guys,

 

friday I'll be starting a banner competition on my site.

I'm hoping other C&C sites will promote it a bit for me.

 

but before that I would like to know what you think I should reward them I came up with 3 things but I think its nothing special really.

 

please let me know what you can think of.

Nothing comes unlimited buddy, free hosting is generous, but it still costs money to run. As a webmaster you shouldn't go around making those sort of claims.

 

And why should we announce this so-called competition if you can't come up with some great goods? The community isn't gonna flock to your site if you aren't going to give some special C&C goodies.

 

Want a below the belt hit? Good cos you're getting one. If your site or this competition were worthy of a mention, you would have been invited to the summit earlier this month. You were not, and since I do not consider this competition to be worthy of my time or Keyboard stroke usage, I don't see why we should.

Who gives a crap about hosting? You can get hosting pretty much anywhere nowadays. If you're going to give out prizes, give out C&C related ones. There's, as King said, NO such thing as unlimited hosting.

 

And plus, you didn't type that crap yourself, you typed it off of the hosting site. You don't own the hosting site, you co own a site that RUNS on their servers.

 

Either way, nobody is going to care. If it's a C&C competition, give out C&C rewards. Otherwize, don't ask us for ideas.
