It's propably gonna involve USA and Russia or maybe it's UN vs Terrorists... or maybe rich western countries vs the poor asia & afrika.

Even so, I doubt they'd call it that. There have been tons of wars ever since then that involve tons of countries, but they call them by different names. depends on the situation.

 

Take the "war" on terrorism for example. Tons of countries involved on our side, tons of countries involved on who we consider the enemy's side.

I highly doubt humanity is past the point in which they wouldn't wage another global war such as the previous two.

 

In about 20 to 30 years, the world's oil supplies will run dry, the climate will probably be a lot hotter, melting the ice caps and raising global sea levels, causing more ground to be uninhabitable and adding to the heat.

 

Not to mention the population on Earth is starting to reach a critical point, it is estimated the Earth can sustain at the very most around 9 billion people.

We are expected to reach that within 20 to 30 years as well.

 

I'm hoping it will never happen, but seeing humanity's past, it is more likely to happen then not.

 

Ofcourse, some sort of natural disaster could also occur and throw humanity into chaos, with the survivors fighting over what is still habitable.

 

All it takes is one lunatic with a big enough weapon in his backyard.

i'm happy as long as it remains the subject of games and not more....

 

highest probability is in oil rich areas. already USA is surrounding china to block oil ( from iraq/iran) and natural gas....trying to slow china down. USA has armed taiwan with all latest weapons to maintain control over oil in south china sea. russia is currently out of the picture but is historically resilient. middle east aka muslim world aka terrorists are fortunate or unfortunate enough to be sitting on the worlds oil. the solution is giving them permanant seat on the UN which is so ridiculous that more than 1 billion ppl of the world arent represented in UN. And give a permanent seat to africa too. they dont have a say in world matters thats why their countries are FFA and you never know the truth about them.

no its prob not gonna be iraq war like. for one they dont have the manpower to mount a ground assault. at most it will be a cruise missile strike or airstrike. iran is sure to go after their carrier groups in the persian gulf after that. iran has a proper army, not like iraq with outdated and crap weapons. iran has ballistic missiles and anti ship capability. hope they kick ass if they are invaded. you cant just invade another country and get away with it - twice.

hhmmm...from WWIII to Global Warming....Well one proof about global warming is that in Finland every season is warmer than it used to be and that last autumn lasted about 4 months...

1 theory is that green house gases dont impact the place where they are made. in other words, pollution from west might make east warmer and vice versa......if this gets out of hand could there be a blame game leading to war?

We can't really move to space stations. For one, there is no way we could create an infrastructure for any significant population to live in space, (any time in the next few centuries) for another, we can't make a perfect closed-system. We'll always need to bring supplies up from the Earth.

Global warming is happening, not just due to our intervention.

For instance, the Sun keeps getting hotter as it ages, (10% every 1 billion years, might seem little, but it will cook Earth) and the more warmer it gets, the more cloud layers (vaporization) will form, holding in more heat.

 

If you want to know what a green house effect can do (and has done) on a planet, look up Venus.
