Of course. The Nuclear General's main weakness is that he has to tech up quicker than most other generals in order to access his nuclear abilities. If you can catch him before he can do damage he's toast.

 

But that dosen't mean that once he -has- his nuclear abilities he's invincible...he's just bloody hard to defend against.

 

Then again, the same can be said about the Superweapon General, who in my opinion utilizes the U.S.A.'s technology very well (EMP Patriots > Nuke MiGs ). What bothers me is when people say she's overpowered, just because her only real devestating unit is the Aurora Alpha. Like the Nuclear General, she suffers from the drawback of having to tech up as fast as possible.

Nuke general is the most power ful general in the game they have much better battle masters and overload they have also good speed and their nuck migs are really very powerfull despite their weakness you can use their weakness as an advantage but in small maps if you tanks are destroyed they exploade like crazy.........but in bigger maps you should take the isotopes stability from the properganda tower

Vanilla Generals are good for the USA and GLA - not China though because ht nuke General is just upgraded Vanilla, no extra drawbacks.

A raptor could not be taken down by RPGS..!

 

And a Ranger is special forces, not Basic infantry!! A decent ranger could mow down GLA rebels and those Chinese bolt action soldiers without taking a hit all day.

 

Our actual antitank missiles could scrap the most sophisticated enemy tanks in one hit, let alone the incredibly old and obsolete Scorpion and Marauder style tanks.

 

ALL OUR TANKS ARE ARMED WITH MACHINE GUNS! They don't fire 8787889589 shells at a single infantryman to kill him, they fire 50-cal autocannons!

 

 

How does it take 17 missiles from a Raptor to take out a barracks? A real USAF AirToSurface missile could do it in one hit. And any bomb we have could level it.

 

Rangers have Killer flash bangs? That's all kinds of retarded!

My favorite general is the air force general, because you very quickly access generals abilities... attacks from off the map. Give me a few minutes, and soon the stream of fighters and bombers to your base will seem endless. A-10s.. Spectres... the B2 Carpet Bomer... oh yes... and while that's distracting you, it rains particle cannons...

Well, it would seem that the Chinese actually went as far as to ban the game in China, because they weren't happy with how weak they looked, so the government must have thought they were being wronged. The US government probably laughed it off and saw it as a means of helping promote anti terrorist sentiment. Hence the USA losing in the end. Its a marketing sensibility.

 

I wouldnt be suprised if the US government actually insisted that they lose.

oh, and in RL (real life-some of you dont have one of these) the F-22 is invisble to ALL radars. Flew one behind an SU-27 (which has rearfacing radar ) for 2 hours, SU pilot didnt know he was htere unti the F-22 pilot commed him and said "Look behind you"

The radar scan and base defenses are more than adequate means of dealing with the stealthed planes and units of the enemy sides. Infact, I always delpoy a radar van/listening post/scout drone a little ahead of my base to detect such unit approaching my base. Its just common sense IMO - you see the enemy coming a little earlier and your defenses can shoot a little sooner. The defenses available for each side are more than adequate. Mo only coo really is with the GLA Stinger site, but having 4 quad cannons hanging back in yuor base is a must or you'll find yourself really helpless.

USA Sucks Because:

1.The Particle Cannon sucks. It Costs 5000$ to Build and it is useless unlike the scud-storm and nuclear missile.

 

2.without countermeasures planes will be shot down in few seconds.

That depends on how it is used. Personally I like the ability to wreck havoc on enemy Tank columns before they knock on my bases's front door. Or clearing out base defences before a groud or air assualt.

Well, if you haven't noticed, it's a trend in RTS games: high-tech units = expensive. The U.S.A, being the most technilogically advanced of the three factions, has it's war machine cost justified.

 

Besides, if you get your economy up and running smoothly at the beginning of a game, and manage to protect it from early rushes, then there really isn't anything to complain about, is there?
