Overcow 0 Posted November 22, 2007 It's nice that the BETA opens really fast. ^^ Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted November 22, 2007 yeah much faster than FF2 I'd say it's just about as fast as IE (maybe faster) Share this post Link to post
CCHyper 3 Posted November 22, 2007 Firefox wins because its available in a portable edition. xD Share this post Link to post
Overcow 0 Posted November 22, 2007 And so is TE, Opera and Safari to. U fail. Still, the portable FF pwns! .D Share this post Link to post
Louis EX 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Opera is the best actually. Look at the speed and stability tests. Oh, and they created the most features first. I believe tabs and ad blocking was their's first. QFT. You guys really should give Opera a chance. It really is liek everything-in-one and its fast enough. You don't need ****ty add-ons! Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 23, 2007 Louis, at one point it seemed like you were the spokesperson for Firefox. Quit flip-flopping. Opera is for people who fail too much to use manly Internet browsers, like IE, Mosaic, or WorldWideWeb. Share this post Link to post
JahSpoR 0 Posted November 23, 2007 You don't need s****y add-ons! Hell yeah we do! Share this post Link to post

I don't know what greasemonkey is.... so there's no success in the "in your face" comment... Meaning it failed. edit: In some ways this beta is faster, but it seems loading images (multiple ones) takes a bit for it. Share this post Link to post

TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 23, 2007 Exactly my point. The only good add-ons for FF are ad-blocker and noscript... Well guess what? Opera has great build in ad-blocker, so... Zing. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted November 23, 2007 it depends what you need the add ons for though. Some people find certain add ons extremely useful. For instance i use the web developer toolkit and firebug which have proved themselves to be highly useful for what i needed. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 23, 2007 I never experiment much in add-ons but I believe Opera has a good variety of add-ons as well. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 23, 2007 I have about 10 add-ons. All reasonably useful. Its really annoying when FF updates, and an add-on stops working... Share this post Link to post
Louis EX 0 Posted November 24, 2007 Louis, at one point it seemed like you were the spokesperson for Firefox. Quit flip-flopping. Opera is for people who fail too much to use manly Internet browsers, like IE, Mosaic, or WorldWideWeb. Lol, cause that time I didn't know about Opera, only knew about IE and Firefox. Firefox > IE Opera > Firefox Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted November 24, 2007 eh I tried Opera and I didn't like it cause the google toolbar for it sucked Share this post Link to post
Louis EX 0 Posted November 24, 2007 Why do you need a google toolbar for it? Opera already has a google searchbox in the toolbar for you. Share this post Link to post
