I have quite a few

 

MP5 - Small and effective at most missions

 

Barrett M82 Sniper Rifle - New generation of the sniper rifle - Anti-Material rifle great in most games (looking for a example? try the Halo Sniper)

 

Desert Eagle - Love this hand gun - power, compacity, much more

 

M4 Carbine - Its the most unique rifle in my words - it can handle alot of attachments and more

 

M249 SAW - My favorite Sqaud Automatic Weapon always reliable at times of need

 

Remington 870 Shotgun - Its the multi-purpose shotgun used in battlefield.

 

Pancor Jackhammer - Its a almost Fully automatic shot gun

Walker Colt Revolver. Revolvers are ****ing badass, and the Walker Colt is a classic in the category of revolvers. Go Sam Walker. He made revolvers finally kick ass.

 

Of course, I'll never turn down a Barret M82A1 or an M4A1 Carbine with Trijicon's Model RX01M4A1 reflex sight, Insight Technology's AN/PEQ-2(ITPIAL), and an underslung M203 Grenade Launcher.

Oh... Ok... I'll throw in 5...

 

a. Melee

 

1. Dagger-Axe - An excellent weapon, and fashionable too, as it's blade can be made of Jade. It can stab or chop, so it's quite versatile.

2. Kris/Keris - An indigenous weapon in Asia, including the southern major island I inhabit (Mindanao). It's blade is curved in a way like waves, and it is said to possess spiritual value (good or bad).

3. Kodachi - A Japanese shortsword, similar to the Wakizashi (accompanying blade of the Katana). Excellent when used in pairs of 2, can be thrown for ranged combat, or used easily in defense, aside from it's offensive potential.

4. Tessen - A kind of Japanese War Fan. It was used to ward of arrows and darts, it's handle is made of iron for attacking, and it can be used to aid in swimming.

5. Balisong - A purely Filipino weapon, also called the Butterfly Knife. Very stealthy, and for a folding pocket knife, it can be unsheathed very quickly in the hands of a trained user.

 

b. Ranged

1. Mark XIX Desert Eagle - A very powerful firearm, designed by Israel Military Industries. It uses .50 caliber ammunition.

2. MP7A1 - High-power SMG, manufactured by Heckler and Koch. It employs 9x19 parabellum ammunition, and is employed by many special forces units in the world, most notably the German Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK).

3. FN SCAR - An assault rifle, employed by the United States, and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal. It uses 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition.

4. Daewoo USAS-12 - Assault shotgun, manufactured by Daewoo Precision. Old, but reliable, using 12 gauge ammunition.

5. Barrett M98 - .50 caliber sniper rifle, used by the United States. It has a range of 1.2 kilometers, and effectively pierces armor.

Scarface's M16A1 is no different from a regular one with an M203.

 

In terms of melee weapons, I like Impact Batons, Steel Chairs(Triple Jump Moonsault FTW), Sledgehammers, and Singapore Canes.

Well, I prefer weapons with elegance, style, etc... Wrestling weapons are too crude for my liking.

 

Anyway, as RedmondBoyle/SLJ and New Jack have posted something about a fictional weapon, I'll put in 10 (5 melee and 5 ranged).

 

a. Melee

 

1. Pariah Warscythe - From Warhammer 40,000, used by Necron Pariahs. It effectively cleaves through anything, and can fire deadly Gauss Arcs.

2. Lightsaber - Very obvious, the preferred Jedi or Sith weapon from Star Wars. Depicted to be able to slice through anything.

3. Plasma Sword - The elegant weapon used by the Elites and the Master Chief in Halo. Very powerful, utilizing the same technology as Covenant starship shielding.

4. Psi Blades - Protoss Zealot weapon in Starcraft. It is very powerful, but requires focus of mind to use.

5. Power Fist - A crude weapon from Warhammer 40,000, similar to Brass Knuckles. It uses high amounts of energy to boost the power of the user's punches.

 

b. Ranged

 

1. Particle Whip - A Monolith mounted Necron weapon. It is very devastating, stripping anything within the path of it's arc and it's target of matter particles.

2. Brute Spike Rifle - Devastating, yet crude, used by the Brutes in Halo 3. Launches large spikes onto a target, causing extreme damage and it can be dual-wielded.

3. Dark Matter Gun - The ULTIMATE Quake 4 weapon, utilizing Dark Matter blots to annihilate large areas in one powerful blast.

4. Overwatch Pulse Rifle - The main assault rifle of the Overwatch in Half Life 2. Very powerful, and has the antimatter charge as secondary fire. It's only drawback is low ammunition.

5. PPC (Particle Projection Cannon) - A weapon from the Mechwarrior series. It's the most devastating weapon, especially since it has one of the highest range and damage in your arsenal. It's only drawback is high heat generation.

M4 Sopmod package - Its the Special Ops counter part of the M4 carbine

 

P90 - A Sub-machinegun that is one of my favorite Sub Machine guns

but the MP5 is the best

 

M120 Motar - Its a handy piece of artillery

 

USAS 12 - Its a shotgun, but it looks like a M4

 

Vulcan Cannon - carries alot of ammo

M1A2 Abrams - the most deadly tank in the US arsenal

 

Humvee - A fast mulit-role vehicle

 

Stryker - A vehicle some what like a APC with multi use

 

M109 "Paladin" Self Propelled Howitzer - its a great substitute to the stationary artillery

 

F-22 Raptor - The Evolution of stealth fighters... very strong fighter but it cost alot

 

A-10 Warthog - A good Tank Buster

 

AC-130 Spectre Gunship - Good For close support

 

F-18 Hornet - Its a great jet on carriers and that stuff

 

B2 Spirit - its the ultimate war machine coming in at the price of $727 million to $2.2 Billion dollars

 

F-117 Nighthawk - Great for surgical strikes on the pesky enemies

 

Battleship - The most effective unit in the US Navy

Vehicles, eh? I'd give a few (both fictional and non-fictional).

 

Non-fictional

 

a. F22 Raptor - A new Stealth Air superiority fighter, used by the United States Air Force. It is slated to replace the F15 C/D. It is also capable of filling in bomber roles.

b. M1 Abrams - Main battle tank of the United States. The M1 is named after General Creighton Abrams, former Army Chief of Staff and commander of the 37th Armored Regiment. It is one of the fastest battle tanks in the world. It is also upgradeable, removing any need to replace the entire tank, only the outdated parts. It has seen action in the Gulf War and Iraq War.

c. Challenger 2 - The main battle tank of the British Army. It is fast, albeit slightly slower than the Abrams, and has a nice weapon system. It has seen actions in many theaters of war, most notably the Iraq War (alongside the M1A2 variant of the M1 Abrams).

d. T-90 - Part of the venerable T Series of Russian tanks. It rivals the Abrams in speed, and packs a 125 mm smoothbore gun with ATGM capability; mainly 9M119 Svir. It has not yet seen any major action.

e. Mikoyan MiG 35 - A new 2005 model of the well-known MiG aircraft. It has a top speed of Mach 2.34 (2,500 km/h, 1,527 mph at altitude). It can fulfill both fighter and bomber roles, and it can have a crew of 1 or 2.

 

Fictional

 

a. Necron Monolith - The single most devastating piece of ground armament the Necrons can field. It is armed with 4 Gauss Flux Arcs, a Particle Whip, and a powerful energy crystal. It can lay waste to entire battlefields, bring in reinforcements and is made of Necrodermis/living metal, making it more durable than most vehicles.

b. Lucius Pattern Baneblade - A devastating piece of Imperial STC-era armor. It has a Battle Cannon and Demolisher Cannon as it's primary armament, and it's secondary armament consists of an Autocannon, 2 Lascannons and 6 Heavy Bolters. It has an armor at least 180mm thick, and a top speed of 25 kph.

c. Unholy Variant Daishi - My personal Battlemech in Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. It carries a single Heavy Gauss Rifle, 2 Gauss Rifles, 2 Light Gauss Rifles, 2 Large Pulse Lasers, and an LRM20 Rack. It has no heat sinks, however. It is slower than most Daishis, and more considerably, has less armor than usual, but what it lacks in both is made up for by it's grim efficiency in ranged firefights, making it a sniper Battlemech in it's own right.

d. Covenant Assault Carrier/Capital Ship - The most devastating Covenant Starship (or vehicle for that matter), it carries the thickest armor and shielding in comparison to everything else except the Covenant Space Stations.

 

It's armament consists of:

 

* Pulse Laser Turrets

* Energy Projectors

* Plasma Torpedos

 

It carries to battle all of, but not limited to, the following:

 

* Seraph-class starfighters

* Banshees

* Spirits

* Phantoms

* Covenant Drop Pods

* Boarding Craft

* Shadows

* Scarabs

 

All in all, one of these can rival multiple enemy vessels with ease.

MP7 aint an updated Mp5 it is suited for a completely different role and calibre.

its much more like the p90 if anything and both weapons shouldnt be regarded as SMG's as they actually fire a high velocity pentrato much akin to a rifle round.

M1 Garand - The WWII workhorse very effective, but jams

 

Thompson Submachine gun - Its the WWII Equivilent to the MP5 of today just more of a rifle look

 

M1 Sherman Light Tank - Even though it was a light tank, in world war 2 it was produced more than the germans could produce with their Panzers and Tigers

 

B-52 "Stratofortress" - Biggest plane for peace making

 

The M2 Bradley - the greatest Anti infantry vehicle in my words

 

I forgot the helicopters...

 

AH-64 Apache Helicopter - its a attack helicopter that comes in different versions (this and the long bow) it can do anything

 

Blackhawk Helicopter - its not really a weapon without people in it besides a pilot but it can provide devestating support

 

Cobra Attack Helicopter - its a navy based helicopter that is very effective
