APOC has posted his latest blog on the Official C&C 3 Site. In this blog he rolls back the clock and reviews 2007, highlighting some of his own personal favourite moments. Its clear that 2007 has been a big one for Command & Conquer. Here is a sample.

 

Hey all you Command & Conquerors,

 

Well, 2007 is finally coming to a close and what a year it was for Command & Conquer! Up until last March, it had been over six years since a new Command & Conquer game based on either the Red Alert of Tiberium Universe had exploded onto your computer screens. For Command & Conquer fans around the world, 2007 should be quite a year to remember.

 

For me personally, it's been an honor serving for the last three years as your Community Manager for Command & Conquer. It's been a very memorable and meaningful three years thus far - from Middle-earth to Tiberium Earth - but nothing has captivated me more as Community Manager than all the remarkable events which have transpired in the past 12 months. Here is my quick take on SOME of my favorite moments of 2007 your Community Manager, for the Command & Conquer community and for Command & Conquer fans all around the world!

 

January - For quite a while fans were wondering what the suspicious third alien-faction would be in C&C 3. Threads with thousands of views kept bumping to the top of the message boards. It was insane. So, we decided to get a little tricky and put a mysterious image message in our C&C newsletter which, to my surprise, was decoded in one day. The "alien font" in the message revealed the third faction was indeed The Scrin.

I also poured my heart and soul into creating a C&C Movies site purely for the fans. It was a place where you could view every single C&C movie ever (except for C&C 3 of course). The site lasted exactly one day due, then was pulled due to legal issues. Fortunately, I can say it will be back in 2008!

Interesting, I thought it was dead for sure...

 

I so want to see the "KANE on ICE" show.

I must have missed the C&C movie site. I'll be glad when that gets back up.

 

All in all, and interesting, and relatively good year. (die hards can debate the relative goodness on any local street corner or nodie basement)
