TheBlackOut 6 Posted January 22, 2008 I'm liking the Zombie concept for this game. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 22, 2008 whoah the nod stealth artillery is totally different!?! 6 legs instead of tracks... huge gas canister on side of barrel... reminds me of a cyborg reaper a bit. Well it's an interesting looking unit now at least. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 22, 2008 whoah the nod stealth artillery is totally different!?! I believe that is only when its "deployed"... Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 22, 2008 whoah the nod stealth artillery is totally different!?! I believe that is only when its "deployed"... oh that makes sense... like the starcraft2 siege tank animation. have to watch that early teaser again and compare anyway. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted January 22, 2008 Nice pics. I like the close up of the APC/IFV thing. I'm liking the Zombie concept for this game. Rofl.. Share this post Link to post
JahSpoR 0 Posted January 22, 2008 OMFG that huge tank looks insane!.. GDI's Epic Unit? But how does the Tiberium-sucktion thingy work?.. Share this post Link to post

dapperdan 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Detail on the wolverine looks a little sparse. Also, have the guns changed on it too, weren't they supposed to be mini-guns? Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Theres an upgrade for "bullet-based" weapons, so i guess the Wolverine is affected too. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 24, 2008 I would have thought bullet upgrade would not show as a turrent upgrade rather an ammo type change... like the rail gun affect. Wouldn't a gun barrel on the wolverine be too hard to discern? Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Well it does on an APC, so i took a wild guess Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 24, 2008 Hagren I was thinking about changes to graphics of the barrel itself not the turrent. ie. the behemoth barrel shows it uses a rail gun ammo On the APC and Wolverine - surely the barrel would be way to small to easily see the difference?!? (Woot! I like how the newpost messages for this forum mention the name of the poster. That way I can avoid those annoying posts from that spammer Luk3us!) Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted January 24, 2008 (edited) About the APC - it's a repair APC, and is therefore not equipped with a gun. It's for steel talons if I remember right (meaning it replaces the normal APC, it's not like an IFV). Edited January 24, 2008 by Inferno Share this post Link to post

The upgraded APC looks like wielding a gattling gun. Share this post Link to post

It's for steel talons if I remember right (meaning it replaces the normal APC, it's not like an IFV). That's true, with the added bonus of still allowing an infantry squad of your choice inside, so it can defend itself. (which is weird). I would have preferred the repair crane only appearing after you place an engineer inside.... ala RA2. But I was talking about the general upgrade of better ammunition, that is faction wide, not to one particular unit... Hagren, maybe you need to point me to a picture that you're thinking of so I can see what you are talking about. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 29, 2008 Here you go: Woah. Yeah the turrent difference is substantial IMO. This would work. (sorry didn't see this response). Share this post Link to post
