Luk3us 63 Posted January 30, 2008 I don't, but I really don't like all the annoying wireless all over my desk. So tomorrow I'm getting a nifty Wireless keyboard/mouse setup. Now this is where you all comment on how you have never had any bad experiences with wireless devices. And that I am actually a fool for not having this setup sooner! Not that my trusty Dell Keyboard and Mouse from 2002 are to be wasted, they get to used for my "old" computer for my silly parents. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted January 30, 2008 If your going to get a wireless keyboard/mouse combo don't go for the cheap crap, I recommend Logitech. I've been using the the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3000 mouse and keyboard since April 2006 and I have no problems at all, read a review here http://www.thetechzone.com/?m=show&id=346. The only minor thing, you have to change the batteries in the mouse every 3 months or so. Some keyboard/mouse combos give you the benefit of a rechargeable mouse that sits in dock thingy over night. Have a look at the Log range starting here http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboard...s/&cl=nz,en. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted January 30, 2008 I don't, but I really don't like all the annoying wireless all over my desk. So tomorrow I'm getting a nifty Wireless keyboard/mouse setup. I know what you mean, but I just had to point that out. Btw, I never liked wireless. As long as it's optical, it does for me. Wireless tends to be unresponsive, you have to change the batteries too often, you get that annoying wireless receiver you gotta put on your desk (less space), and blablabla you get the point Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted January 31, 2008 I'm fine with cords, better response times and less hassle for me. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted January 31, 2008 Response times are a thing of the past, all modern wireless keyboard/mouse combos work great. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 31, 2008 Well I have my new wireless combo now. I'm actually rather suprised at how responsive the mouse is... A little TOO responsive to be honest. Someting to get use to I suppose. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted February 2, 2008 Response times are a thing of the past, all modern wireless keyboard/mouse combos work great. Not when you got a lot of other tech goodies lying around. I've had bad experiences with wireless products before I will rely on my cords. Share this post Link to post
Guest Anti-Marine Posted February 18, 2008 I have a wireless Keyboard and A wired mouse... But I dont like using batteries. Share this post Link to post
Hans5849 0 Posted March 9, 2008 What ever happened to rechargeable mice... Share this post Link to post
JahSpoR 0 Posted March 9, 2008 well, you can buy a battery charger for 5$. I just don't like to mess around with batteries and stuff when your mouse starts to complain in the middle of something. guess the power supply is batteries for the keyboard also? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 10, 2008 My wireless keyboard mouse combo, had a charger built into the reciever. Pitty these batteries are totally ****ing useless. I had the mouse and in the space of a month had to change out hte batteries 4 times. I've changed to cool Energizer batteries and the problem is solved. Pitty it takes forever to charge them on the receiver. lol. Share this post Link to post
Overcow 0 Posted March 12, 2008 Wirelees kinda sux when playing games, low responsetime. Share this post Link to post
Julbri 0 Posted March 24, 2008 I'm not a fan of wireless, id rather have good responsiveness and reliability and put up with some cables then have wireless.... and i really hate batteries Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 24, 2008 Well after about two months now, I'm reasonably happy with my setup. The Mouse battery issue has been resolved now and all is good in the world. Share this post Link to post

Pyrodaimon 0 Posted March 25, 2008 Wireless mouse and keyboard came with my new PC last year. I hated so much back then although I've already gotten used to it. Stupid batteries... You got any idea how much would I be spending if I hadn't bought rechargable ones? Share this post Link to post
