Luk3us 63 Posted March 2, 2008 (edited) The best thing about the second movie is it had that Starship Captian from the first one in it, though she'd been demoted and transfered to the army... Oh and the fact that she was KILLED in the first one... But that didn't stop her! Should have had Denise Richards in it too, then she could make out naked with that other army chick. Mina Synd 0 Posted March 2, 2008 scratch my previous statement about ST3 being the best one yet... i just saw the trailer for it >_<; and from what i've heard and seen, the bugs look fake in comparison to the first movie, and apparently they reuse some of the space scenes >_>; also they aren't doing the go-to-enviroment thing like in ST1, they're just gonna film small scale on a set like in ST2... eh go figure. so methinks it's gonna be somewhere between ST1 and ST2 in quality. none the less i'd still buy it no matter how awful just because i have the other two XD Share this post Link to post

Mina Synd 0 Posted March 4, 2008 yup... i'm a victim of corporate culture xD mmmm... capitalism :3 it may be bad but i'm still gonna watch it. i just hope it turns out better then the advert looked... you never know, flukes happen xD if they were that desperate to make more money they would put it out on the big screen instead of straight to dvd... most people didn't even know about ST2 for a long time, and some still don't. the only reason the majority of the uk knows about it was cos it premired on one of the default channels a few months ago. that said i knew about it like, 2 weeks after it was released when someone mentioned it and i got a rip copy >.>; poor as hell but i could tell what was going on. glad i watched it then otherwise i would have gotten all excited when i bought the thing on dvd XD Share this post Link to post

Mina Synd 0 Posted March 10, 2008 also if you're interested there was an anime made of starship troopers, based heavily on the book rather then the new film's "oh let's read the first chapter and make the rest up" approach... it was made in like, 1989 and consists of three dvds, 6 episodes. 150 minutes total methinks :3 i'm gonna try and buy it sooner or later so if i actually do manage to get it, i'll give a review o.o but from what i've seen there's a lot of mechs. but apparently it's close to the original book so i dunno. haven't read that yet o.o Share this post Link to post
