Renegade 2007 Video Preview

The Renegade 2007 team have posted a new video preview featuring the Nod soldier, and the maps "Hourglass" and "Field". Its rather cool to see these classic Renegade maps updated and looking fantastic in the Unreal 3.0 engine.

Wow. That's a thing of beauty.

 

Who would have thought that Tiberium fields coupled with a clear night sky could be a sight for sore eyes. The Team are really doing some great work. OK, it's only eye candy, but it's damn good eye candy.

 

Hourglass (in the video) looks amazing as well. I love the little comparison at the start showing the old Renegade, before being transported into a highly detailed and absolutely stunning version. Just proves really how far graphics have come.

Very nice enviroment. Like how the tiberium lights up at night. and the original pod tiberium is here too.

 

So will EA be featuring both the large crystals and the pods. Will Tiberium be growing off structures in the game?
