Changes won't apply

As the title would suggest, some changes I've added won't apply. I've double checked the prerequisite and sides and they're fine. I've saved the rulesmd.ini, soundmd.ini, and artmd.ini. Obviously this is YR, as the .ini files show. Any ideas on what's wrong? Could it possibly be from having TibEd on there, despite my not using it anymore?

first... it sounds like your adding a new unit... you need to double check your unit, making sure that the tech lvl is 1-10, it should have a prerequisite, and make sure that it is on the list of unit, infanry or building. just check everthing again. it doesn't have to do with tibed. tibed is just sitting there doing nothing.

1) Make sure your unit has a buildable prerequisite and make sure your prerequisite structure names match the identifiers themselves.

 

2) Make sure your unit has a tech level between 1 and 10.

 

3) Make sure your unit is in the proper list.

That's what I've double checked. The tech level is one (put in as 1, of course), the prerequisite is YAWEAP, and the Owner is YuriCountry, along with the RequiredHouse. Could the presence of TibEd do that? I can't see how it could, but you never know. Ah well, here's the rulesmd.ini for it. I love my Jabber Tank.

Also, I tried to enable the Aircraft Carrier Nimitz, switched over to Yuri, but it didn't work either. I fixed the tech level and got rid of the semicolons, so by all rights it should work. I checked the #entry and it had a semicolon so I got rid of that and it didn't work. :angry:

 

If no one can see anything I'll try getting rid of TibEd and see if that works. If not, I'll gripe some more. :twisted:

 

 

Never mind, I figured it out. The game installed on the wrong drive. I've got it fixed.

TibEd does nothing but create RulesMD.ini, ArtMD.ini, SoundMD.ini and RA2MD.CSF (and possibly create ecache, expand mix files). But you found out what the problem was already.
