Sonic 301 Posted March 17, 2008 I don't get the idea behind this at all. Is it providing some sort of service or just joking around for fun? Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 18, 2008 but unless my insinuations are correct why would you possibly search out something like that? c.C you scare me at times >->; Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 18, 2008 I observed the link at another forum I visit. So I didn't actively search for it. So fail for you. Share this post Link to post

mormreed 0 Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) There are other reasons a person could possibly use this than leave the country (oh and btw did anyone notice the UPS Tracking number ) Edit: and it's FREE to order 40,000 names O.O Edited March 19, 2008 by mormreed Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 20, 2008 still it's one of those slightly scary semi-legal things which i'd rather not get involved with. i's a good lil civvie :3 Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted March 20, 2008 They have you trained like a dog I just plan on using it for random sites that I sign up for to try and get hosting, they almost never actually host your stuff so I have accounts at probably something like 30 "free hosting" sites Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 21, 2008 o.O er... okies? isn't that illegal? x3; and is it the best idea to mention said illegal things on a public board? XD Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 21, 2008 Eh, nothing is really illegal on the net. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted March 21, 2008 Eh, nothing is really illegal on the net. lol true. What's the UPS tracky thing? Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted March 21, 2008 maybe they're gonna track the fake people and how would having accounts on like 30 free hosting sites be illegal? and everybody lies about their identity some time Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 22, 2008 maybe the whole site is government run and you're gonna get party vanned next week xD an stuff is illegal on the net o-o the whole piracy and torrenting. it may be pretty slack but it's still possible to get busted for it o.o; one of my uncle's family members got busted for torrenting music and got charged £50 plus an amount for each single track downloaded... Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted March 22, 2008 (edited) That's a rare incident Mina. Usually, government agencies only target the people providing them, as taking out the people downloading them helps nothing. However, if you download an assload of stuff, your ISP can release the download records to the appropriate authorities. That'll be the icing on the cake there. Doctor Destiny 42 Posted March 23, 2008 your ISP can release the download records to the appropriate authorities. That'll be the icing on the cake there. Most times, ISPs fight tooth and nail to keep from disclosing that information though. At least, they used to... Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted March 23, 2008 With how lawsuit-happy the MPAA and the RIAA have become, I wouldn't be surprised if they were blackmailing the ISP's into releasing the information. Share this post Link to post
