Tacitus Thursday - Exclusive Kane's Wrath Map Pack

Recommended Posts

Its Tacitus Thursday time once again on the Official C&C 3 Site. This week its an exclusive Kane's Wrath map pack. Featuring 4 pre-order bonus maps for Kane's Wrath, they were originally available only to those who pre-ordered the game. Thanks to EA they are now available to everyone.

Blighted Tower

This 2 player Tournament Map is perfect for quick encounters. Holding the middle ground is key on this map, as it contains two extra Tiberium fields and perfect artillery positioning against the enemy base. For those sneaky players though, the outside provides excellent flanking opportunities.

Gunship Gauntlet

This 2 player map gets rolling fast as starting locations come with lucrative blue Tiberium fields. With entrances to the bases limited, Gunship Gauntlet caters to aircraft and long range weaponry. If your starting field runs dry, expand to the green Tiberium fields in the top right, or secure the extra blue field in the lower left.

Ruined River

The 2 player map of Ruined River is a favorite among defensive players. The crystallized ravine throughout this map makes ground assaults difficult, resulting in heavy uses of aircraft and support powers. Capture the Tiberium Spike in the lower right for extra economy, or secure the Gun Platform on the middle island for a strategic advantage.

Craters of Camden

Set amongst London’s smoking remains, resources are few and far between on Craters of Camden, forcing players to be frugal with their spending. Players must struggle for control of the single Blue Tiberium expansion field, resulting in a match more focused on precision strikes than mass unit spam.

Because pre-ordering games is a total waste of time.

Yeah pre-ordering is a waste of time imo.

Case and point, I went and bought Assassins Creed on release, and the chick there (She was really hot, I mean damn what are you doing working at EBgames DAMN!), gave me some weird metal case edition, which I thought was cool. :) But damn she was hot... I'm buying more games there now. :D

On point though, I already had those maps, as some guys on the EA forums were trading map codes and such.

No these maps will only work with Kane's Wrath. They use assets not found C&C 3.

Clearly EA would be better served by replacing all game store staff with hot chicks, rather than bothering with pesky pre-orders to boost sales. Even they just assigned a 'reccomendation expert' in the EA section of any given store - I'm sure sales of soggy, drool incased games would sky-rocket!

sigh...

my mind is unravelling with thoughts and possibilities of hot chicks in game stores.

(LUK3US you must go back and grab a photo. Make her famous not a legend.)
