Guest Rabbit Posted May 17, 2008 In all honesty... my opinion on this matter... If you're gay, you're gay. If you're straight, you're straight. I really don't mind this at all. The only thing I DO mind is when someone with a different preference tries hitting on me (we all make mistakes), but the thing that REALLY bugs me is when they start pushing it on me like it's a religion of sorts. You believe what you want, but it just annoys me when people accuse me of being homophobic myself just because I don't appreciate them pushing their gayness on me. Share this post Link to post

This is exactly how you bring more people onto the site by have these kinda of discussions going, they turn up on the front page are like, oh this looks like an interesting topic. Then they get in, and they're like, NOOOOO MY SOUL! To answer your question, the only reason why you'd consider the same sex is if there is some kind of attraction there. I don't have any attraction to guys, its that simple really. I mean if your into ****ing chicks, guys, chickens, horses, desks, cars, fish or whatever thats fine. I mean your either with it or not really. There is of course society pressure also to conform and be a good little sheep also, but eh, that comes down to confidence issues really. Its a persons own decision who they prefer, guys or girls (or both), same goes for religion but i just hate when they try to force there veiws on someone else to answer the question, like luk3us i just simply dont have an attraction to guys, and to me its just not how its ment to be. i dont think being gays wrong its just not right In MY opinion Share this post Link to post

But this all ties into why some men prefer brunettes, or redheads, or Asian girls or what the hell ever. It's a big mix of different traits, experiences and environments that lead to one's sexuality, and preferences within. And it's not an easy decision to come to, especially if you're against the norms; ie, homosexuality, bisexuality, pan, etc etc etc. rofl. This topic is so ****ed up its not even funny. It's not just confidence that makes this such a touchy subject at times. It's society with its lovely "conformities" that makes this such a hot button issue.
