C&C Saga have been posting a lot of stuff about from the list of cancelled Command & Conquer games this week. Some of it can be depressing to see, especially when in comes to the cancelled Tiberium FPS game. This game had so much potential but it got axed back in September 2008. The video below is an internal demo of the game, showing various sequences. Please disregard the odd choice of music. Bluehell Productions are back in action with their dev blog updates for Red Alert: A Path Beyond. The latest one includes information about future balance design, better targeting feedback, context-sensitive radio commands and the new and improved camera work, as seen below. Something called the World 100 for Tiberium Alliances has been teased via their official social media pages. There is no extra information, only the date of 02/09/2014. Looks like we will have to wait until September to find out what this is.

When games are cancelled it not uncommon for images, concept artwork and all sorts of related stuff to surface over time. Here we are, about 10 months since the new Command & Conquer was cancelled last October, and C&C Saga have come up with these great looking 3D renders of the Generals. One can only wonder what other stuff is sitting archived away for the cancelled C&C. And who has it? The last I heard from various sources is that C&C has been dropped under the BioWare label again, or it's currently at EA Austin.

What a shame, actor and funnyman Robin Williams was found dead in his California home today, he was 63. Agreed, neither Xbox One or or PS4 offer anything that inspire me to want either console. With that said, if I had to buy one today it would probably be a PS4, and that's coming from someone who has favoured the Xbox platform since I purchased my original Xbox Crystal Console way back in 2004! I didn't buy a PS2 until late 2007, got a PS3 in late 2010.

A new patch for Red Alert: A Path Beyond, by Bluehell Productions, has been released. But this patch comes from an unexpected source, the fans. Community member Pyryle has been working hard (with the help of suggestions from other members) to make a new balance patch to deal with issues currently plaguing the previous version of Red Alert: A Path Beyond. The full change log for this patch can be found here. You can update your game via the BHP Launcher.

I just can't take anything that is on Kickstarter seriously I'm afraid. But that's just me. Good luck with your project though.

I'm really starting to get pissed off with Firefox lately. Why has become such a bloated piece of **** slow browser? I'm tired of how long it takes to load after Windows has booted. It sometimes hangs when loading a site. In comparison, Chrome doesn't seem to any of this. Perhaps its time to switch?

Just an update. About 90% of the files that were missing have been restored and are available to download again. Remember this problem only effected some of the larger downloads, like the popular freeware releases of C&C games. Or the C&C: The First Decade - Unofficial Patch, that recently passed 100,000 downloads. There are still a handful of files to sort out, relocated etc....but at least the majority of them have been restored.

Its a bit strange to me that fan made patch would be considered "official" by Bluehell Productions themselves. I'm sure they have their reasons for this.

Switching gears here..... It has bothered me in recent years how obsessed and over saturated games/movies/TV shows have become with Zombies. Why the sudden craze?
