  1. So like does anyone know which part of the growth accelerator's code allows this behavior? I tried changing my structure's build placement type and build on flag to imitate the growth accelerator but then I can't actually build it anywhere. Thanks in advance!
  2. GVMERS has a new video that takes a close look at the long since cancelled Command & Conquer first person shooter, simply called "Tiberium". For those who don't know, Tiberium was in development by EALA back in 2007 and 2008 before it was abruptly cancelled in September 2008 due to the game’s failure to meet quality standards set by the development team and the EA Games label. This new video looks back at what could have been and from what I can see, it does include some never before seen footage of the game in action. Watch it in the video above. A real shame Tiberium never got released, it the had potential for a new spin off franchise. Something that could rival the likes of the Battlefield franchise or even the Call of Duty franchise. Who knows, we could all been playing Tiberium 3 by now. Thanks to HOPE1134 on our forums for the news tip.
  3. Some more great looking concept art from the cancelled Command & Conquer FPS game, Tiberium, has been found on the website for Duane Loose. He was one of the many artists who worked on the game during it's concept and design stages. There are 16 new images showing a battle scene, Tiberium fields, some Scrin concepts and more. Some of the images also appear to be from the Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars concept stage, based on the dates and image descriptions. Some more interesting reading in the form of these PDF files. Command & Conquer: Tiberium | GDI Styleguide Deep Industrial Design Styleguide You can view all the new images inside our Tiberium Concept Art gallery (pages 7 and 8), or on the artists own site.
  4. Released today is the latest C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux Mod promo video showing off how the Mod looks in 2016. A few sneak peeks at the new campaign missions can be seen if you know where to look. Eight additional campaign missions are slated to release soon with patch v1.43 with the campaign videos included. This video itself is a remake of the original Mod trailer that hit the Net way back in 2007. DOWNLOAD CURRENT RELEASE FACEBOOK PAGE
  5. Hello C&C players, I made several tutorials on YouTube for the Tiberium Wars Worldbuilder. You can bookmark this thread, or this playlist: This is my old playlist: I will try to keep them up to date. Here is the list: C&C3: TW Worldbuilder Tutorial - Mountains / Ditches - C&C3: TW Worldbuilder Tutorial - Forest / Ramp / Road - C&C 3 Tiberium Wars Worldbuilder Tutorial - Building a city - If you have any questions, send me a PM on YouTube: *click* Have fun!
  6. This weeks instalment of Throwback Thursday goes back to September 2008 and looks back at the cancellation of Tiberium, the C&C FPS game we never got. It never had Command & Conquer in the title, but it was GDI versus the Scrin. There was never any mention of Nod being involved, but we always expected them to make an appearance. What we did get to see of this game looked great though. I remember during my trip to EALA for the Red Alert 3 Community Summit in June 2008, we got to witness the Tiberium development team go behind closed doors for a meeting with some EA executives. An hour or so later they emerged from this meeting looking a bit deflated. Perhaps the fate of the game was sealed on that day in June. On the 30th of September 2008, we got the news that Tiberium was not on track to meet the high quality standards set by the development team and was abruptly cancelled. Remember, you can click on the preview above to see a larger and more detailed image. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #ThrowbackThursday, #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.
  7. C&C Saga have been posting a lot of stuff about from the list of cancelled Command & Conquer games this week. Some of it can be depressing to see, especially when in comes to the cancelled Tiberium FPS game. This game had so much potential but it got axed back in September 2008. The video below is an internal demo of the game, showing various sequences. Please disregard the odd choice of music. Sequences: 0:22 Flashback 1:02 Investigation in New Monaco 3:20 Mining Colony 3:58 Urban Warfare 4:57 Back to the Tour 5:33 VFX Demo 6:07 Atmospheric Demo Many thanks to C&C Saga for sharing this and other cancelled concepts with the community.
  8. The resourcefulness of the C&C community never ceases to amaze. The French C&C fan site, CNC Saga, has somehow managed to discover some more potential logos for the cancelled Tiberium game. Here are some samples: ' rel='lightbox'>http://i.imgur.com/HG6LB.jpg ' rel='lightbox'>http://i.imgur.com/vyWA0.jpg ' rel='lightbox'>http://i.imgur.com/p8dXF.jpg See them all right here. You can read more about Tiberium on our Cancelled C&C Games section and on EVA Database.
  9. RTSWorld.ru has uploaded a new alpha gameplay video of the cancelled squad-based FPS game, Tiberium. The video mostly shows how the interface behaved and interacted with the player.
  10. Fresh off the all the rumours about the next Command & Conquer game, Kotaku have gone and looked back at the art of Tiberium, the long cancelled C&C based FPS game. Their "Art From the Command & Conquer Game That Never Was" article features the fantastic work of artist Steve Burg. Many of these images have been seen before, though, but it's good to look back on them.
