No TIBERIUM at E3 This Year

TIBERIUM Community Manager, ZoneRunner, has confirmed in a post on the Official TIBERIUM Forums that TIBERIUM will not be appearing at this year's E3.

 

Just to update you, we will not be showing Tiberium at E3 this year. The team's priorities have them 100% heads down in making an awesome gameplay experience, and they're going to remain focused on that. The big push will be starting later this year, though, so you'll be getting plenty of new goodies then!

So no TIBERIUM but don't worry Red Alert 3 will be at E3 so we will have plenty to look forward in that department. As for TIBERIUM, we will have to wait longer to get some new information.

If so: Why did he say at E3 THIS YEAR? I mean it won't get shown at E3 then in any year, maybe an Addon will make an appearance there another year but...

Because the E3 in question is this year... How weird would the wording be if "TIBERIUM will never show at any of the coming E3s" well duh....

In all honesty E3 isn't the big extravaganza it used to be. It was THE place for all the developers to show of there up coming stuff but since they started scaling back the whole thing it's sort of lost its appeal. So it doesn't really matter if TIBERIUM is there or not.

 

The other thing is, perhaps EA don't feel they are at a stage to show off the game publicly just yet.

Gamespy have September 2 listed as the release date for Tiberium http://au.pc.gamespy.com/pc/tiberium/

 

I know it is largely speculative as they haven't officially announced a release date (as far as im aware) but im assuming they probably have a better idea than most.

No official release date has been announced. I don't think we will see this game out until early 2009.

September 08 seems unlikely, given the sheer lack of any information over the last few months. Unless they plan to kick things off in August.
