Red Alert 3 Beta Patch 1.05 Coming Soon

The Red Alert 3 Beta client will updated to version 1.05 soon. This update will bring some much requested changes like replay support. Here's a quick list of what you can expect in beta patch 1.05.

• Its going to finally add REPLAY support!
• Tier 3 super-weapons
• Loads of balance changes - primarily off beta tester feedback from these boards
• Loads of bug fixes

Community manager, APOC, has asked that you do not download anything until you get the all clear from him that the patch is officially live. There is currently no time set for the release of this patch other than "coming soon". Check the original thread for more.

Tier 3 Superweapons?!?!

I can't wait!

 

 

I somewhat hope that they will include the plethora of game options in RA3 that were available in RA2. It's not really necessary, but I found the option to play by getting money only from oil derricks or all the other crazy things they had really added to the replay value of RA2. Still, RA3 is shaping up to be a great game, and if it stays this way until release, it could very well be my favourite of all the CNC games.

Me too, I can't wait to see what's more behind RA3. Hopefully all these good stuff in the end may get a "Game of the Year" award for 2008 or 2009. Who knows.

replay support is the thing that has really been missing... I could have waited for retail to get SW... but beta balancing I guess is important.

 

Now if I could just get a game in... without getting kicked out of the chat room.
