The Aurora Alpha Bomber is the greatest airship in Zero Hour for me. I likes to see when a large group of infantry beeing bombed by Aurora Alpha, they are flying to the sky very high. I always laught when I see that. It's fuel air bomb is unmatchable, but it could be a double edged sword.

On the contrary the Aurora and Raptor's are real planes, although they are not commissioned into full service yet..

 

The Aurora forget it's military code name, is a plane that is undergoing testing at the moment, fact is that although it is extremely fast they are having problems with the fuel tanks. Reason being is that because the aircraft is so heavy anyway without fuel.... a full tank prevents it even getting 100 Metres off the ground... That problem and when it does get off the ground, it ends up crashing, so the pilots have to bail our.... it's cost the US government billions already.

 

The Raptor I'm sure you must of heard of it's official name is the F-22 Raptor Joint Strike Fighter, that will be in US service hopefully by this time next year, and in world-wide service by 2008. The UK military has bought 20 of these so far.

 

The raptor is an amzing feat of technology, it's fast and can out-manouver any fighter aircraft in the world today. It's turning capability at slow and high speeds makes it twice less likely to be shot down than the F-15 (no F-15's were shot down in service before 2002, only 2 have since)

 

You know the stealth fighter so I aint even gonna bother explaining a F-117a to ya... oh and I've lost count the amount of times that plane has been shot down I know the US military have lost about 6 in wars since 1998.

That´s bull****! F-22 is NOT the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). Lockheed Martin F-35 is Joint Strike Fighter, which will be available 2008 UNLIKE the F/A-22 Raptor, which is a totally different plane. F/A-22 does not have V/STOL or naval capabilities and has a different purpose.So the RAF has not bought a single F/A-22, but it has bought JSFs. And the continuation for the F/A-22 project is still uncertain, because the budjet limit has been broken many times, and there is no need for such a fighter really.

 

AND there is no proof of the so called scram-jet Aurora-project. NASA did the first scram-jet flight just a few months ago, so I don´t belive that USAF would has a complete jet using that technology.

I've ever heared F-22 Raptor. There is a flight simulator game using that plane. I think the name of the game is F-22 Raptor.

The F-22 is the Raptor and it is real, and thats it.

The Stealth Figther F-117 is also real, and so is the Aurora.

The Comanche also exits in real life.

Yes but the Comanche project have been already abandoned, because even the US could not pay such a prize for a helicopter (something over 100 000 000$ per copter).

There is a proof that US Military Airforce are conducting a research on Aurora, but I won't show it to you, it's classified .

Yes, there is.

Aurora was a deep secret military project that leaked out, and EA took advantage from that.

I look foward to when the real auroras come out. Should be very interesting. The generals aurora carries bombs, how can it release the bomb effectively a high speeds. In reality the bomb would pass its target unless its released early.
