C&C Community Modding News Round Up

There has been a bit of modding news and activity going on the C&C Community over the past few days, so here's a quick wrap up of it.

Canada's Revenge

Just recently announced. Canada's Revenge is a 5 mission campaign add-on for Red Alert 3 featuring a new side: Canada. Bitter that they have never been featured in any Command & Conquer game, the Canadians try their hand at global domination.

 

Tiberian Dawn

Big January update featuring renders of the Advanced Power Plant, Chain link fence, SAM Site, Nod Airstrip and Construction Yard.

 

Red Alert: A Path Beyond

The latest dev blog is online. It covers the MOTY awards as well as APC texture variants, the Allied Mechanic, Allied Engineer and the Hedgehog road block.

 

Cold War Crisis

Patch version 478 has been made available for download. Besides some minor balancing issues, bug fixes and the possibility to disable the weather effects, the patch introduces the first multiplayer mission.

Why are you always ignoring tiberian Sun Genesis? They released alot of new material just before new years eve, two really cool wallpapers among others.

I don't deliberately ignore mods. Plus I don't know anything about Tiberian Sun Genesis. The mod round up updates aren't exactly easy to put together. With so many mods in the C&C Community its close to impossible to keep track of them all.

I "borrowed" Hexetic's list off Planet CNC. But yeah it never dawned on me at the time I posted the update. Either way Renegade X is in the list now.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean to be so harsh. Anyways it's a really cool mod project which aims to recreate Tiberian Sun in Cry Engine 2.0. A very cool project indeed.
