Sonic 301 Posted March 27, 2009 Anyone looking forward to the 25th Anniversary WrestleMania? I am. And I really hope it will better than what has been served up on WWE Raw and Smackdown over the past couple of months. Because WWE's TV shows have really gone down hill lately. Despite the crappy TV content its hard to no resist shelling out a few bucks to watch WrestleMania. You never know you might miss something really cool. The other thing worth mentioning is that its 25 years of WrestleMania, that's a hell of a long time. I can still remember watching WrestleMania VI (that's number 6) many years ago with Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior in the main event. Call me a dumb little kid but I recall being so excited about it, especially when the massively popular Hulk Hogan "lost" and then seeing the Ultimate Warrior hold up both titles in a colourful array of fireworks behind him. Sadly I don't think we will get such fond memories at this years WrestleMania, perhaps its because of the different times we live in. Either way WrestleMania's 25th Anniversary is only 13 days away. Luk3us 63 Posted March 27, 2009 Speaking of WWE things, I see John Cena is set to star in a new movie? I watched a bit of RAW the other night and saw the promo. WWE films are always amusing to watch. lol. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 301 Posted March 27, 2009 Should be better than The Marine.... that movie was terrible Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted March 27, 2009 I liked The Marine. But only because it had a lot of action and I didn't have to think that hard about it. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 27, 2009 There was one scene in that movie I really liked a lot. It has that guy who played the terminator in T2, and some guy says something like, "he's like the terminator he won't stop", and that guy kinda smirks in the rear vision mirror. I thought that was great. The rest of the movie was so so. Share this post Link to post
CCHyper 3 Posted March 28, 2009 I tryed getting tickets to this back in November, but it was like £300 i didnt have Im really looking forward to WM actualy, the buildup for Hunter vs Ortan is good, but the Taker vs Shawn is brilliantly done, how he teased him on RAW and Smackdown was brilliant, great buildup to both matches. Gben 20 Posted March 31, 2009 There's some sort of show on Sunday afternoon's, I forget the name. When I was younger it seemed to be more fun, but the match I saw recently between a 'star' and a 'no-hoper' was just woeful. Although some match between MVP and some other similar build player was at least entertaining... The formula doesn't work for me... Share this post Link to post
Immortal_Joker 0 Posted April 7, 2009 I would rather see Cena go against Flair in a cnc game hahaha!! P.S: DEADMAN FTW!!! 17-0!!!! Share this post Link to post
Sonic 301 Posted April 7, 2009 As I posted here http://twitter.com/CNCNZcom/status/1462529676 WrestleMania 25 was average and so predictable.... the magic of the event is well and truly gone Share this post Link to post
CCHyper 3 Posted April 7, 2009 I agree with you there Sonic, only classic thing about it was the Taker vs Shawn match, what was awesome, i really was on the edge of my seat! Share this post Link to post
