C&C 4 Info from PowerPlay Magazine

The main problem I see with the game is 5v5 multi player. Its hard enough to get a decent 3v3 match going let alone a 5v5... Ugh, this could get ugly.

They said there was going to be an invasion so I darn well expect an invasion or else it is another plot hole and they just can't end the series with a hole like that! I mean I know some of the plot has been messed up with TW and KW, but it's still mostly salvageable if they try.

As we mentioned a few days ago, the latest issue of the Australian gaming magazine PC PowerPlay would be featuring a preview on Command & Conquer 4. Tyrael, a user on the Official C&C Forums, was kind enough to post this quick list of information from the preview.

• EA promises that while the C&C universe will go on, C&C4 will complete Kane's story. You will learn who he is, where he comes from, and why he cares so much about Tiberium.

 

There's only one reasonable response to this...

 

 

EDIT: If the KANE arc is ending - does this mean we get only one interweaving story arc - or will we get the alternate endings still?

About the Tiberium name thingy, Tiberium is a thing, Tiberian is a something to describe. For instance, America, name of a country, and when you say something that is based in America, let's say a war, you can't say "America War", you have to say "American War" instead. Similar case to here, "Tiberium Twilight" doesn't sound right, "Tiberian Twilight" is much better. And besides, it's best that you don't damage the "Tiberian Twilight" name when it's not broken. AND the "Tiberian Sun" name came first, and Twilight should be its sequel just to replace the Sun word.

C&C 4 will see an end to the whole Kane/GDI/Nod/Tiberium parts of the story. The expansion, assuming there will be one would cover the Scrin part.

 

If you go back think about the games that make up the storyline, C&C, Red Alert (yes it fits here), Tiberian Sun, Firestorm, Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath. And then everything that happens.... its a damn complex storyline. All I can say is good luck to Sam Bass and the rest of the devs try make it work and end in C&C 4.

 

The sad thing is whatever story they come up with and ending will probably be heavily criticised by the hardcore fans.

It's not a plot hole, myah. LEGION took over the last Scrin tower and shut it down for admittance.

I'm not sure, all I know is LEGION extracts as much knowledge from the Tacitus before it self-destructs, well, that's the last of that amazing artifact and we never get to see it again in C&C4.

It was mentioned as unstable but it does not showed it self destructed. Kane merely infused the knowledge of the tacitus to LEGION and I have no idea what the ending sequence mean other than its cool.
