ApornasPlanet 9 Posted October 14, 2009 I'm playing the GDI mission were you shall retake the Hammerfest base. I play at the highest difficulty setting. You know, after destroying that Obelisk (after you've destroyed the powerplants powering it), there's a Nod Artillery blocking the way and it's impossible to take it out with just three Hover MRLSs. So, any ideas? I figured it out! The artillery "spawns/is being unveiled" when you capture the radar station, so you can place the MRLSs nearby where the artillery is positioned and then capture the radar. You can now take out the artillery without loosing any of your precious units. Share this post Link to post

Nyerguds 100 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) I just force-fire at the cliffs right next to where I start until something in their base fires back at me. Then I shoot at their base until they start selling stuff. But really, there's a lot of maps that can easily be dealt with be doing the opposite of what your'e supposed to, or just go around the other way. oldglory 0 Posted March 19, 2010 I always hated this. Seriously, if I haven't watched the walkthrough video for this level I could have stuck forever. What's the logic behind this anyway? How can a captured Radar spawn an Artillery? On a side note, the GDI missions are a lot less fun, than the NOD mission in TS.
