Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight Launch Trailer

[Sonic 301]

With the release of a new game comes the customary launch trailer. So here's the launch trailer for Command & Conquer 4 - Tiberian Twilight. Kane, GDI, Nod, Tiberium. How will the 15 year Tiberium saga come to a dramatic conclusion in Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight.

The gameplay footage was retarded. The players were building bases in the same spot. It was a giant Nod and GDI cluster****. ~_~

The trailer was a little underwhelming.

It just didn't really "pop" or grab my attention.

Did you think it would?

Well yes actually I thought it would. Most launch trailers are awesome, even if the games they represent are terrible.

Yeah, the trailer wasn't even near stunning. I remember the RA3 trailer was 100x better.

I hear you! RA3's trailer moved me from "not interested" to buying the Premier Edition.

This still looks shallow and weak. The beta was fun for about two days then got old, I cannot see how this will be any different. I love how they try to create the illusion of bases by having a couple of players deploy in the same place.

Having watched this trailer after finishing the game for the first time, I'm surprised by how appropriate it was, and how glad I remain knowing that I didn't get spoiled by it.

The trailer went for sombre conclusion to shock-n-awe action...

Re: Gameplay

It seems the major goal of the 5v5 gameplay style is to have your entire arsenal on screen at the same time. You can only manage that with a strict pop-cap and no bases.

Sure it's fun - in a casual facebook way - but is it deep strategic gameplay? I think not.
