Gben 20 Posted May 13, 2010 Portal used to cost money. Until May 24th, it's free. End of story. Well, technically speaking, there are some strings attached. Fortunately, they're entirely decorative. We just like the way they look, swaying in the gentle breeze created by a million people simultaneously fainting from shock at the news that Portal is free. Now you have no reason not to try Portal. "I have a reason," some of you are probably typing into an angry email. "You see, sir, I own a Mac." Well guess what: For the first time ever, Portal is also available for the Mac. "Capital news! But the excellent puzzle adventure Portal won over 40 Game of the Year awards; Surely it must cost at least five or six hundred dollars." You'd think that, especially since it actually won over 70 Game of the Year Awards. But, like we keep saying, Portal is free. Free on the Mac. Free on the PC. But only until May 24th. So you only have a few days to decide if your free copy of Portal is worth the price we're currently charging - which is you ever-so-slightly moving your index finger just barely enough to click the big red "download" button right there to the left. http://store.steampowered.com/app/400 Share this post Link to post

Welcome to 2007 , now comeback to 2010 like the rest of us. But classy move by Valve making Portal a freebie. No need for me to download, I have the Orange Box on my self above me. BioBen 3 Posted May 15, 2010 ^^This was exactly what I was thinking earlier today, I imagine it's just Apple+Click or something similar but that still makes it a bitch. Share this post Link to post
Mighty BOB! 5 Posted May 15, 2010 It's fun to make fun of the one-button mouse, but it does have right click functionality, it's just that the plastic isn't separated between the click switches. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted May 17, 2010 (edited) Who uses the iMouse (Or whatever it's called) anyway? The only people I know with a desktop Mac is the School of Music in Wellington I'm planning on heading to, everyone else just has Macbooks. Edited May 17, 2010 by BioBen Share this post Link to post
