Gangster over in the Project Perfect Mod Sandbox Forums is in the process of making a total conversion of Yuri's Revenge, into the Tiberian Sun Universe. The mod will be as close as possible to the original game, but with extremely high quality visuals. This mod will be running on the newly released Ares; A Yuri's Revenge Expansion DLL also known as Rockpatch 2. Be sure to check out PPM's Sandbox for more information. Share this post Link to post

Will a mod add-on work independently or will it require either RA2 or C&C2? What about modding RA2:YR's with C&C2 Tsun's game engine? I was hoping to mod C&C3 with KW and RA3 game engines one day. Guest Stevie_K Posted June 6, 2010 It looks very nice, but I honestly prefer Tiberian Sun as it is. The overall lightning in RA2 just seems.. too bright, but the amount of details might very well make it all worth it. Share this post Link to post

It is on the YR engine, and will require YR to play; but all of the shp and voxel models are custom made, so TS is not required. Share this post Link to post
ApornasPlanet 9 Posted June 7, 2010 Wow! Great, just great! This looks really good! If the team could share design documents with Assassin and the Tiberian Sun rising project, it would be awesome! Because TSR have some great new designs for Nod. I hate the fact that there's shared structures and it would be stupid to design new structures from scratch if they could use the same as in TSR. Btw, is there a moddb page? If not, there really should be! How about recreating campaigns? A really great initiative! Share this post Link to post

Thanks for your answer. I would love if the two mods shared some assets (Risings alternative structures for Nod looks totally amazing and really fits the style) and having a moddb page is a must!
