Well that makes sense. But how would you plan to get close enough with Yuri to steal an opponant's technology? You don't think that if you send a Yuri Prime out your opponant will be on the look out for it? Send out something like a Siege Cannon or Hornets from an Aircraft Carrier when he is spotted?

My allies stuff however is ripe for the taking, erm, i mean borrowing...

 

Yuri primes are a great assistant to attack forces................

 

& are very good at keeping enemies away from you artillary...........

I'm not sure your allies would like that very much if you play online. Some might take great offence at not being able to use their Construction Yard when they need to because a YP is controlling it. Given that snipers in Counter Strike have been shot in the back by their own teammates, I really don't know about doing that.

Most of my allies dont like it, but i always send a few bodyguards with Yuri, about 5 masterminds!

 

They have nothing to threaten me with!

 

Sometimes they quit out of anger, but onece I have their technology I dont need them. You can never trust allies. Im a prime example (yuri prime that is).

No matter what they think of me i am in the top 20 YR players there is & that on its own is impressive enough for them to simply grim & bear what i do to them!

Well, i dont play anymore, simply because mo matter how many times i re-install it, it just keeps making all my buildings blow up.

Did you use any mods in the game? I know some Red Alert mods will cause you to lose and have your buildings blow up about thirty seconds in. Wiping the entire folder and performing a fresh install might help, or try installing to a diffirent folder to see if it is some mod or something else that is causing it.

General Immeyourenot, I agree with you. Yuri is the best herooo . His mind controling ability is devastating. You can get more money by using him in skirmish, just mind contol any opponent's units that come nearby and send them to the Grinder. Yuri RULES.

I am not saying Yuri is the best ever but if used right yurie is devistating... The clone vat alone is handy and make's him so nasty.. Or if you are short on funds just use the Genetic mutator on your own miners turning the slaves into burts and grind them... :lol: And is ability to take other tech is very cool... Nothing quite like having 3 superweapons(Nuke+weather+dominator)

3 superweapons, it's been a long time since I build all the 3 superweapons. I blow up my opponent's base in a sec with that. None of them survives from Yuri.

I would take on any anti-yuri n00b, who underestimates how great he really can be.

 

Lets see how they like it when i turn their own stuff against them!

 

My favorite tactic is to have hundred of conscripts led by 4+ heros, backed up by apocs, prisms & masterminds!

Can turn the opponent's stuff to fight against their own side is one of the big benefit of using Yuri. Yuri can turn the tide of a battle. And with his clonning vat we can build more heroes. Like 2 Tanya, 2 Boris, and 2 Yuri Prime. With that, Yuri rules.

I think you overrate Tanya, shes not just bad, shes pathetic, you cant possibly beat a base ( which is the whole idea of RA2 remember) with tanya, Boris can slowly, but Yuri can do it in seconds
