I seen this been done plenty of times when rumors start of a new game on a gaming fan site of it. To run a poll, what we all think it will be. So in a few days we know what we think is most going to happen as a new C&C game or continue of a universe.

Yeah sorry about that, I made this poll because we heard little bit of news of a new C&C game coming up. I copy pasted the post, thats why it says my 100th post. I forgot to edit! sorry about that!

I wouldn't mind a sequel to Generals. It's not a bad series; it just needs more attention to be something more than it was before. Rather than just modern warfare, it needs a little more oomph to it storywise.

 

Barring a new IP or a new Generals RTS, I'd really like to see a Generals-themed FPS centering around the faction's hero units. That would be pretty nifty honestly.

Sounds too generic to me... Renegade was a FPS with tiberium, a Red Alert FPS would also be unlike your standard FPS, but a Generals FPS with an American tough guy and a hacker lady versus terrorists just doesn't sound very unique.

 

Especially since I don't have much faith in EA getting the formula right anymore...

If they managed it properly, the idea is pretty solid. Familiar structures and tanks up close in greater glory. What's not to love? Besides, this would appeal to a wider audience instead of lame C&C fanboys.

I don't think a FPS is a good strategic move for the franchise as much as I would prefer a Renegade 2 or a FPS set in the Red Alert Universe.

I suppose the success of mods and tc like Ren-X and APB for example will have a direct role in the viability of the role.

I'd like to see a Red Alert 4. I really like Red Alert games, and given the storyline is so wacko on a good day, its hard for them to screw it up.

Resurrecting Continuum wouldn't be bad. An MMO might work if they don't charge a monthly fee. It'll tank if they try.
