Chimas 7 Posted December 15, 2010 Hello everybody,I came to CNCNZ after talking online with Nyerguds, and he suggested to come over and discuss CnC95 here.Actually, I'm kind of a contraditory person. I'm not a gamer, related to those players with collections of games. Also, I'm not a programmer of any kind, disregarding obviously the microwave oven. IN the other hand I enjoy Excel a lot, but still far away from macros and visual basic.I might be one of the oldest in the community (39) and at the same time, I started playing CnC95 last June.I became a CnC player because before existing CnC and Windows I used to play a game called The Sun Tzu's Ancient Art of War. Btw, much better than reading the classic book. I still believe it is not an outdated game. And have to say that is totally related to RTS genre, very modern to its time (1984). But, didn't find many enthusiasts of the game on the web. In a website called Abandonia I read about CnC95 and played all the factory missions in DOS. Got tired of that and realized "there must be a conversion to Windows".So here I am. I've played a lot of missions and because of my compulsion with organization, I am "collecting all the bones" (SP missions) I can find. That's the only thing I can help the community at the moment, besides being an online target in multiplayer missions. I already started "mapmaking" a single mission called (Operation) SANDSCORPIO. Did you watch "Patriot Games"? Well in this mission you'll have to disable a bunch of terrorist camps in north of Africa, each camp of a different faction. The map is cool, the game is running, but triggers and teamtypes is another story. As a first map it will be cool.Forgot to say, I'm brazilian, actually a Gaúcho (bitter humored southern people ehehehehe). SOLO was the name of a consulting office in businees I've had.As a typical brazilian I enjoy soccer and I am a GREMIO's fan - Saudações TricoloresGreetings and see ya around!PS - Nyerguds, once again, thanks for all tips, attention and patience ... ehehehehPS2 - IN 2013, I changed my alias to CHIMAS in order to unify usernames in many sites.
