If I had an enormous budget and a free hand to make my own C&C game, I would like to explore the Brotherhood's past. Maybe go back in time before the first C&C, to terrorist activities like the UN World Food building bombing mentioned in the C&C intro video, or to a time in-between the original C&C and Tiberian Sun, before the Earth went to crap and everything started hovering or having mecha legs. A simpler time, when men drove Hum-Vees, and lasers were potent but rare.

I really like how you think! :D

But saying that, I would really be disappointed if EA resurrected the Tiberium storyline, even if it is a game in the past. They said C&C4 was the last one and if they even try to bring it back I will be pissed. Just let it stay dead!

I think that everything Tiberium-related from now on should be created by the fans. Mods and etcetera will have to do to satisfy our imagination.

P.S. If EA did HeXectic's idea instead of C&C4 it would be a whole different story.

I doubt that. If they make a good Tiberium game, you'll be happy too. The problem here is the "if", of course.

Besides, they said it was the end of Kane's saga, not Tiberium.

I wish I could agree with you, but I can't. The original C&C is what got me hooked on gaming, and than C&C Renegade got me hooked on online gaming. To see the Tiberium storyline end with C&C4 is just.... Sad. (I do pray however that the new team will say that C&C4 is not canon but I doubt it)

As for the roundtable my favorite part was Fobby's rant on C&C4 lol

For this first time I really felt like this round table was a round-up of popular feeling, in my section of fandom at least.

Think differently? Then speak up.

Perhaps absence just makes the heart grow fonder, but I really enjoyed reading this one. Great way to end the year.

Question 1 : Rumors are just rumors, they can become viral, but you know what they say, you can't believe everything you see on the internet.

Question 2 : NodSoldierGirl is the one person I already know for some time, we do have a good chat including sharing our ups and downs of C&C. That's why I recommend her, the whole community need someone to be like their leader to lead the pack. But as usual, someone who is open to both Westwood & EA at 50-50, not someone who is only working for one side and then lead the other feeling pissed. So I say NSG should be the one, or maybe one of them.

Question 3 : Best C&C moment? To me is neither since I lost value in them, but it's Starcraft 2 that healed our wounds made by the insulting C&C4.

Question 4 : Worst? I got several, of course, the leaving of APOC, he has to go somehow but so be it, we all salute him. C&C4 is one thing, but the worst of all is revealing EALA's true colors, their deceiving corporate executives who only wants nothing but money! We can thank Greg Black for spilling the beans. Claim themselves game giant but they're actually have nearly no money in their pockets, look at Valve & Blizzard, they're way better than EALA anyways.

Question 5 : Even though I don't play mods like I used to, I would say The Forgotten mod.
